Yeah but don't you think that now he's out of school he can focus on building body, gain weight etc. Not to mention as he gets older it'll be easier for him to put on the weight. I was 6'3" 155lbs in high school but was able to put on more weight in my 20s...

that's the thing - Young is better at processing and managing the game so it isn't apples/apples just pick the taller one.

Check out walterfootball grade. LOL. Dude has good content on his site but this one is way off: Panthers re-sign C Bradley Bozeman (3 years, $18 million): C- Grade I don't understand this move. Bradley Bozeman struggled last year, performing like a below-average starting center. I considered center to be a need for the Panthers, but they apparently disagreed, re-signing him Bozeman to a 3-year deal worth $18 million. I suppose one could make the argument that Bozeman is coming off a down year because he missed time with an ankle sprain to start the season. This is why I won't fail the Panthers for this. Besides, this isn't an egregious sum of money.

How does this affect the Panthers? They are picking ahead of us so that's another QB off the board.

Just pull the offer now. It doesn't seem like he wants to be here and we are looking like needy wimps right now. Use all the money to build up a bad ass OL and let Sam flounder next year and then draft our future franchise QB.

CAR has been in the running for Dwatson since the beginning and haven't waivered (they paused while waiting for outcome but never said deals off the table like other teams). That kind of loyalty may mean a lot to Dwatson - especially if Dwatson believes he's innocent and CAR was the only team that stood by him. And being closer to family maybe since he grew up in GA.
