Panthers Select Trevin Wallace LB - Pick 72, Round 3
mwa78 replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
I won’t pretend to know enough about him to be overly happy or disappointed. Dane Brugler had him as the 3rd rated linebacker, above Wilson, with a 3rd round grade. -
Exactly. The fact that some people are complaining about this is absolutely amazing. Clueless.

Duce Staley on wanting to Keep Foreman per Joe Person

At the very least, he would’ve had to OK the deal. I can’t imagine we would’ve signed of running back if the running back coach didn’t like him. -

Wasn't it Staley who pushed for Sanders? Once that happened, pretty much closed the door on Foreman. -
Pretty big dead cap hit...

Didn’t I just read earlier that teams have to wait till after the championship round to do that? Or was that just in person?

Seems like I’m in the minority but he is towards the bottom of my list compared to the other candidates. Definitely got a lot of out of Baker this year, but can’t shake how bad they looked against us when they needed to win. I don’t believe they were even a top 15 offense on the year. Ranking behind the likes of Cincinnati and Indianapolis.

Maybe change the title then? If Belichick leaves New England, no one is going to have to trade for him.

So you are going against what Kunkel and Jonathan Jones said, which is everyone in the building wanted Young. There is so much to complain about regarding Tepper, but can you at least drop this BS narrative that you’ve been pushing over and over again. I

RB Coach Duce Staley and QB Coach Josh McCown fired
mwa78 replied to jamos14's topic in Carolina Panthers
You are really running with this like it’s a fact. League insiders also said Reich was safe till after the season. -
That doesn’t even make sense. Sounds like something a 10 year old would say. About as original as your initial post on this thread. Any success/traffic this website currently has is in spite of you. That is obvious to everyone who frequents this site. Are you as bad at your other job as you are running the site? I’d bet good money that you are. Loser…..

Who knows – but what a lazy post. Don’t you have anything insightful to add? Ever?

I think it’s too early to telll on Bryce, but I do believe we took the wrong left tackle.

He has Young ahead of Levis

You want to trade up to 1 grab someone who will be available at 9?

Scott Fitterer.... let's grade his drafts and FA signings
mwa78 replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Agree about the LT. Mays and Smith have a chance, but there’s also a chance none of the other three mention turned out to be anything at all. Part of my feelings of it being a bad draft is the lack of picks. Which is due to bad trades and that counts against it in my book. -
Scott Fitterer.... let's grade his drafts and FA signings

Last year’s draft was not good. I think ESPN even ranked it 32 out of 32 teams the other day. It also WAY too early to call Cade Mays a “”great” swing lineman. Also total speculation on your part that Tepper is his biggest enemy. You don’t know what goes on behind the scenes, just fits an obvious agenda. Was it Tepper’s fault that we traded for Henderson or drafted Corral? Was he involved in grossly overpaying Ian Thomas? I know most won’t agree with me on this because of the Tepper hate obsession by many on this board. -
Wait – I thought Elflein started the first game under Wilks and then got hurt. Bozeman came in after he got hurt. Is that wrong?

Can we remove the thank you thread for the coach that is getting ready to sue our franchise? It is evidently clear that this particular are situation has nothing to do with race. We were not interested in hiring abother ultra conservative, defensive coach. Period. End of story. It is the correct call too.

M Kaye Observer HC candidates pros and cons
mwa78 replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
He got a raw deal being fired after 1 year considering the above but it still counts. Give me a break. How many wins over teams with a winning record does he have in 28 games as a head coach? -
M Kaye Observer HC candidates pros and cons
mwa78 replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
How can it not be a con? Not even referenced. Everyone knows what was going with that franchise at that time but that doesn't mean he should complete pass. The article references 12 games being too small of a sample size to make a judgement while failing to even mention that he already had 16 games as a head coach with another franchise. If we were interviewing someone from outside the organization that already had a failed season as a head coach - it would be referenced. -

How can you have a cons section for Wilks but not reference that he was 3-13 in his first stint as a HC and fired after 1 year?? Can we not include that in the sample size that is too small to evaluate per Mike Kaye? -
