He's 28 and made what? 13 million dollars, playing at a high level? He had 8 sacks last year, boss. DE's are not easy to replace, granted. But to say the son of a bitch is playing at a high level is completely out of bounds. Not to mention, if we keep kicking the can down the road (his contract) we'll be hurting like the Saints eventually.

From a Jags fan, I asked him if hes a good slot guy. "Not sure cuz he was an outside corner for us. He is good in press coverage cuz he's big and long, and he doesnt allow the deep pass. But as a slot where he isnt pressing? poo, he's gonna get abused." -

This is wayyyyyyyyy better than the Cason signing last year. Hell, could be our best signing of the offseason so far. This adds depth, and quality at the same time. -

Maybe one less thing to worry about in the draft this year for Getts, who knows? -

Titans overpaid. But I get the feeling we would've been given a discount. -

THIS, these guys haven't been signed yet. And would be perfect number 2 contributors, and shouldn't be asking for too much money at this point. If they are, that would be beyond moronic. -

I'm not trying to be rude, but you literally just stated four excuses. If we finish with a bad record, Rivera would've got fired. In a nut shell, excuses get you nowhere in a league like the NFL. Just FYI. -
As long as he can hit a home run in the draft, I'm fine with it. The past two years hes been borderline horrid at free agent signings. Lets just hope he is the Babe Ruth of GM's when it comes to the draft.

If he's at 25, can Gettleman pass on DGB?

Florida was one of the best you say? HMMMMMMMMM, maybe they were one of the highest ranked defenses because they didn't play any QBs worth a damn in the SEC? Ever think of that. I don't care, Ryan was much more polished coming out of BC. When you have less to work with you will throw picks. In Winstons case, he had studs to work with and STILL threw picks. I honestly couldn't care less about Ryan or Manning in their college context. Manning had studs at UT too. Not Florida State and all their 5 stars, but he had studs there too. I brought up Florida, not Louisville. That's an ACC team.
