That Home game isn’t the last game of the season. They won’t sit guys with 3 weeks left.

Does anyone bother listening to the post-game pressers?

That’s the last time the Panthers won a December home game. the only remaining home game for us this year is against Tampa Bay.

As of Right Now in the 3rd Quarter vs Atlanta. Carolina Panthers QBs have Combined for 10 Passing TDs to 17 ints thats more more than 1 And A HALF INTS to TDs for the Season. Pathetic An absolute Joke.

Interesting to see the Steelers pass on a QB with the Big Ben retirement news. @Vergeare you expected the rumors of Rodgers to the Steelers to be true?

Litterally this same person stated that Venables at Clemson was flying in Monday. Had the same plane tracker and all. When it was noted he was actually on a recruiting trip with Dabo in TX

You do realize that we don’t get a comp for Donte walking until the 2023 draft. even then. I doubt we get a 3rd. -

But still mind blowing. if they go Just for market value. Signing Reddick And Gilmore alone will cost us around 31 mil when we currently have 29. it will probably end up at 40 with about 6 of that going to the guys we draft. leaving 34. 34-31= 3 Now your at 3 mil with all those other starters and key guys gone and San Darnold as your only QB under contract. We’ve really dug ourselves in a hole. We’re going to really have to pull some magic to pull this off -

Point is. unless we bring back Cam or someone on his level. PJ will be brought in as a legit candidate to start, and he won’t be getting less than a Blaine Gabbert. -

PJ has been on min Salary 800k range coming off the XFL. 5 mil is a stretch. But he has started a game or 2. So could easily see him want 2-3 mil. for Example Blaine Gabbert is getting 2.5 mil this year. Especially if we don’t sign anyone else and is looked as The guy to come in and bridge for someone else. -

Gilmore’s “Market Value” from what he seen is around 14.5 mil Reddick’s tag would’ve been 16 Last Year. With the season he is having. I’d expect 17 or even north of that. Those 2 defensive players alone will account for 21.5 (minimum) of the 30 projected mil. Now you have to remember, Sam Darnold is the only QB under contract as well. -
There are still games left. But you can go ahead and put a fork in this season. So, Let's take a look at what we're getting ourselves into. Right now. It looks like we will be sitting right around 30 mil in cap space (plus or minus a few mil). Seems like a good bit. A lot more than we normally have had under Hurney. But once we starting going and looking at this roster. It's not enough. We also sit currently with 1 draft pick in the top 100 picks. We will be drafting close to around 10th. Top 10 guys are generally looked as the blue chip guys and more likely to hit on. In order for us to recoup a 3rd rounder, we will have to move down into the mid 20s most likely. To get the 2nd, we're going to have to work our way down to around the bottom 3-5 picks in rd 1. QB's are the General exception where teams will get more aggressive and throw more to move. Unfortunately, this is looked at as a weaker QB class. And there just isn't those cant miss guys that teams are going to be throwing the bank to move up for. Now onto the roster. QB Sam Darnold is our only QB under Contract going into next year. If this isnt you're draft pick, You're going to spend on a FA. at the Very Least. You're going to spend 10-15 mil here to bring in a starter level QB. Even If you Do Draft one, As mentioned above, this isnt looked at as the greatest QB class. The ones that are even highly regarded, are looked at more upside guys NOT day 1 starter guys. So you're going to Have to bring a bridge vet guy. Whether its Cam again which will cost you 10+ mil. Or a PJ Walker for 3-5 mil. The OL needs almost a Complete Overhaul. Moton is Locked up. Christensen has shown flashes. But he still hasn't proven anything.....yet. Hopefully these next few weeks we will get an idea. Deonte Brown is someone we have been excited over. But he was still a late rd pick and couldn't even beat out arguably THE Worst Interior OL in the NFL prior to his injury. Cam Erving and Elfien are still here. And I would expect at least one to be cut to open some space. Elfein Will probably get his shot as the Center next year. He hasn't been good at any of his other stops. And was Cut or not attempted be resigned by his 2 previous teams who also had bottom of the league OL's. Also Dennis Daley -Paradis, Scott, John Miller are all FA So. Moton, Christensen, Deonte Brown, Elfein, Erving, Daley are our only OL currently signed through next year Reminder 1 top 100 pick 30ish Mil in Cap Space. All the focus has been on the offense for obvious reason. But here are some of our defensive FA's -Gilmore (Starter) -Donte Jackson (Starter) -DaQuan Jones -Juston Burris (Starter) -Frankie Luvu -Julian Stanford -Rashaan Melvin -Sean Chandler -Marquis Haynes -Jermaine Carter (Starter) -Haason Reddick (Starter) I would think at least 1 of Donte or Gilmore will be signed. Will be around 14 mil market value (remember that 30 mil cap space number) We lose a few other starters as well. Including Jermaine Carter, Who by the way has hinted on Twitter in the past that he is going to want to get Paid and cares about that $$. The other big Fish Haason Reddick. Last year, were Arizona Franchise tagged him, it would've been 16 mil. It only goes up at least a little bit every year. And with his play, is going to cost a min 17 mil (remember the 30 mil cap space number). Reddick currently has 10.5 of the teams 32 Sacks and is 5th on the Team in Tackles. This offseason. Fitty and this FO has their work cut out for them. Because it is looking pretty ugly with a team with barely a pulse finishing this season.

Yeah. Massive. Super nice guy too. He saw us in our jerseys and saw we noticed him and told his kid to take a picture for us. He’s sitting in the end zone row 1. So you may catch him on TV. -
