(Which is half a pct more than what you stated Bryce has ran thus far) Shanahan system in SF (which Houston’s OC came and stems from) runs among the highest pct of their snaps from under center. Guess people just have short term memory. Back in the spring when Reich first got here. And then we brought in Sanders. It was noted by Reich then that the offense was going to be similar to Philly’s and Even Sanders mentioned it. After those comments it was also noted that the Eagles run primarily out of the shotgun. There were even charts floating around to how much teams around the league have moved to the shotgun. And the Eagles were at the top rarely running from under center. The issue isn’t the shotgun. The issue is the LG making Michael Jordan looking like Zac Martin The issue is, the RG was bagging groceries a week ago The issue is, Ickey having a sophomore slump. And continuing the trend of Post Gross OTs playing at the level of Byron Bell, Remmers, Cam Erving, etc (a lot may be due to the new zone system vs Wilks power run heavy system) The issue is, our “blocking” TE is getting rag dolled.

With the way team have run on us though. I fear that duo. Gibbs has been killing me every week in fantasy. But I feel like this could be his get right coming out game.

I honestly feel he just didn’t want a rookie period. Which is what Joe Person just mentioned when he said “if Frank had it his way. We would have gone and got Carr.” Which could be the reasoning why he had a different playbook with Dalton. Not necessarily size or ability but more just doesn’t like or trust rookies. Remember, this was the whole big reason why things went south in Indy in the first place because he kept forcing retreads vets. heck, I honestly can’t recall them even having a rookie developmental backup. They always had vet type backups in Jacolby Brissetts of the world as the backups too his time there. It appears he is an old head that never learned from his mistakes and the league has passed him by.
