  1. Sam was terrible yesterday. But it’s the kicked dog syndrome with him. We grabbed a guy who was mentally messed up and put him behind the NFL worst OL What did we actually think would happen this season?!
  2. Elfein was so bad. The team that drafted him, cut him before he even finished his rookie deal despite having a bad OL. Then went to a terrible Jets OL. And was so bad, they didn’t even attempt to resign him. we made Him a priority day 1 FA signing
  3. Literally 2 of those passes just pointed to what I said just lobbing a 60 yards pas. There’s plenty of clips of Will Grier, etc doing this in college. The Louisville one was nice, and that was his best game all year. But he hasn’t been consistent making those passes all year. Arm Talent is constantly making passes like that Louisville one all the time. Not 1 or 2 every few games. To me he is Sam Darnold minus the turnovers. His 2020 season was dam near a split near image of Darnold’s. The Turnovers, decision making. The way he sets his feet (or lack of) with the slight bounce, etc. i mean literally if we’re just talking him throwing deep shots. And you just said he is better than Fields
  4. HS competition to NFL is laughable. and lobbing a 60 yarder isn’t necessarily “arm Strength”. there’s plenty of tape of Will Grier, even Teddy doing stuff like that. Arm Talent is being able to put it through tight windows with velocity.
  5. His film from last year was literally Sam Darnold 2.0. And this year he has improved his decision making cutting back turnovers. But to say his Arm talent is better than their is like saying Mac Jones is better than Herbert’s. Not even close.
  6. 0.00% Chance he is better than Fields or Lance. Not even in the same league. Maybe Mac Jones. But that’s about it. While he has improved greatly since last year. His Junior season almost mirrors Sam Darnolds at USC He is the top guy in a Terrible QB class. Meaning some QB needy team in the top 5 will reach and grab him before us.

    Tepper

    Talking about this?
  8. Saw this somewhere
  9. Tepp holding onto Marty “great evaluator of talent” Hurney. That right there. Is when I knew this man had no Fugging clue.
  10. It’s alright to be frustrated. But Robby ain’t the guy to be doing this considering he is leading the entire NFL in dropped passes for the season coming into today after signing the big deal.
  11. Amazing how the OL improves some when they’re not having to drop back and do Pass Pro 90% of the snaps
  12. Just promote Sean Ryan. He’s already been working with Rhule. And he has NFL experience already. He should be learning some things schematics wise working with Brady these last 2 seasons. But also seems like he’d align play calling views wise with Rhule. Ryan was on the Giants staff from 2007-2013. Rhule while analytical and has Brady at OC right now. He is still a Giants style at heart (hence the defense wins championships etc) he credits Tom Coughlin a lot as a mentor.
  13. Brady seems a little over his head at the position. I mean it’s understandable considering his only Play Calling experience was a pass game coordinator in college for 1 years. this guy schemes up some great play designs. But his calling the plays and when to use said plays. He just isn’t there yet. You can tell to with the way Rhule states what he wants to do and what actually happens on game day. Rhule needs to quietly take over and put Brady back as a pass game coordinator similar to LSU and ease him in. Show Brady what and how exactly how he wants the offense to play and game plan to run. Just with those play designs that Brady schemes up. also there was a really really good write up by Joe Marino at the draftnetwork when this staff was hired. talking the approach this team needs to move fixing the team with the scheme of the offense. And it showed How important OL play is in Brady’s offense. Breaking down to his play calls and designs at LSU. It relied very very heavily on 5 man protection from the OL. Unfortunately our OL can’t block even with help. This surely isn’t helping Brady. It also hasn’t helped that we’re trying to attempt to rehab a QB and fix him and boost his confidence but throw him behind a OL that’s on par with some of the worst he saw in New York.
  14. I’m team Corral as far as him being QB1 in this class. but he still scares the piss out of me. He is just a season removed from looking like Sam Darnold 2.0. Tons of turnovers, locking on 1st reads, etc
  15. Willis to me about as far out from being ready as Jordan Love is imo. He has tools. But is no where close from being ready. if you watch his tape. His big eye popping plays are the ones escaping eluding guys and throwing it. thing is, 80%of those throws would be a int in the NFL. People get so wrapped in him escaping the defender and completely ignores the whole play.
  16. Well with 1 draft pick in the top 100 with Massive Massive Holes at LG, Center, RG, and LT. Another big hole at QB. A hole at LB. id say we’re still a ways out.
