Perfect right on time as we trade our entire defense and draft picks for Watson.

Brian Flores (who was the big link reason Watson was wanting Miami this fall). Is now on the Steelers staff.

Whole lot of Deshaun Watson chatter happening out there
ncfan replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Remember that time Tepper said this https://twitter.com/katieperalta/status/1016701752958242818?s=21 he’s real quick to go back on his word once the pressure gets on him -

Pickett "had fun catching up" with Matt Rhule
ncfan replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Looks like Rhule isn’t the only one who likes Pickett -
Yes at least we’d have something to look forward to with Willis. a Jimmy G with a better OL is still stale. Still .500 CEILING. And know that the staff is just going to get blown up at seasons end. So what’s the point of even watching.

“A lot of mid-tier prospects, but no franchise QB”
ncfan replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Do explain. it is worth it. you clearly must have not been following the draft etc. Back then you are correct. Cam did in fact put his team on his back. But as pointed out that is apples to oranges. There are other examples of that. If that was the case The Golden Calf of Bristol and Johnny Football would’ve been can’t miss prospects as well. Cam had the physical ability. But he was in a college gimmick offense and there were concerns about his transitioning to pro style offense’s. Etc hence why everyone was down on that QB class. You can argue all you want. But the evidence is out there. All you have to do is Google and it will be filled with articles and links like the one posted above. -
“A lot of mid-tier prospects, but no franchise QB”

Check what? the fact that 2011 QB was looked merely the same as this years. Yet after Cam turned out alright. Everyone seems to completely forget? -
“A lot of mid-tier prospects, but no franchise QB”

Playing at a high level in college means what? The Golden Calf of Bristol was a superior college player at a higher level than 80% of the starters in the NFL. Cam Newton was a “big armed, athletic, toolsy guy with big upside”. Much like Willis. They didn’t like Cam because he never played in a NFL style offense and was in a offense molded around him and would need a big learning curb in the NFL -
Thought I talking about this class right? Wrong This was the 2011 class. So be very careful when you jump on the Media train of “this isn’t that good of a QB class” 2011 was preached the same way, Especially once Andrew Luck decided to return to school. No one had a single QB in their top 10. No one had a must have QB in that class. This was another QB class that was stacked at the top at other positions much like this one. Just not at QB. Im glad we took Cam over those other “can’t miss prospects”. And I wouldn’t change a thing even though they skoffed at the pick https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/680372-2011-nfl-draft-big-board-final-position-rankings-and-top-100-prospects.amp.html

Draft this MF at 6 and bring back Cam as some backup mentor role. use all that Cap space Fitty is claiming on the OL you’ll get this fan base to start to come back then next year
