@Verge Is there any chance that the Browns and 49ers could hold out on trading those QBs to us for a lower offer than they want. And drag this at least into the preseason, holding out hope for a playoff caliber team losing a QB to injury and get a better offer then. Ala Sam Bradford.

This was a shot at Tepper not Rhule -
James Borrego / Matt Rhule…. Is their a worse 1-2 combo

They have the worst big man situations in basketball. There are plenty of college big men right now who would straight work Plumlee. -

To Borrego’s defense though. He has no control in personnel moves like Rhule. And the Hornet’s big men=Panthers OL/QB situation. Only so much you can do to coach up a pile of poo. -
I’ve heard this from bunch of people for people arguing not to draft one this year. there are 2 QBs that are looked to be The guys next year. Everyone is a crapshoot like this years. the Eagles just gathered a to of draft capital for 2023 and 2024 (3 1s and 3 2s between 2023 and 2024) And it sounds like they are pretty enamored with next years QBs as well. I’d expect they will take one of those 2. The Dolphins also have gathered quiet a few picks next year as well. And if Tua struggles more. They may be eyeing one. They weren’t shy about being all in on Watson this fall. Giants have already made it known they are shopping pick 5 and will most likely try to add capital to replace a Daniel Jones in 2023. so point is. There are more than just us who may be looking at one of those top guys. But we don’t have near the ammo to get into a bidding war. so skip QB again this year, eyeing one of those guys next year. We may have to completely bottom out getting a top 2 pick next year to have a shot.

Could only see Pittsburgh for Willis if we weren’t to take him. They are enamored with him. And will want to jump Atlanta and Seattle

Problem is jimmy G and Bake Mayfield are bottom 10 QBs -
https://bookies.com/nfl/picks/carolina-panthers-kyler-murray-trade-analysis They’ve also increased the Vegas odds I know we’ve really been trying to open cap space too

And what’s the plan with that $$? all the top guys in FA are gone that would require you to open space for. trading away a young player Just to get Darnold off your books for 1 years is 2010-2018 Browns esq. That’s what bad organizations do.
-
What’s the point if you’re not even getting anything in return. Just to get his contract off the books? What’s the BIG plan with alll this money you’ll be opening up. After all the big FA’s are off the market? This smells a stench of the 2010-2018 Browns trading away picks just for someone to take away that bad QB from Denver they paid big $$ for. so why not just keep him. Bite the bullet and pay him to sit for this 1 year. And keep your young guys. don’t be that dysfunctional franchise like the Browns

Chris Simms top QB is Matt Corral and why you should listen

Also had Mac Jones there as well. He was the biggest Mac Jones hype man among the media people to the point it felt he was on the Bama payroll. If I’m not mistaken he had Jones QB 2 or 3 -
Replace Elfein and Put in Deonte Brown and that looks good to me!!
