Agreed honestly. to me he is the Will Levi’s of WRs. tremendous tools and upside. But still pretty raw. Not the greatest route runner. Most of his stuff is them moving him around and just getting him the ball.

But if they don’t think any of the QBs are worth the pick outside the guys going in the top 2 every year. And never want to trade up. At some point you need to start looking at your scouts. Because if that’s how’s it’s going to be you’re never going to fix the QB which just so happens to be the most important position in all of sports.

They said that the last 3 years (reports 2 years ago said they only liked Lawerence and Wilson) if you don’t like any of the guy over 3 seasons that they like enough to take and saddle up to develop as your franchise guy. Another guy I really like and have mocked if I didn’t grab Rice is Zay Flowers. If you want explosive vertical threat. He’s probably the best in the country. Let’s talk them in here. with Fitty’s comments about this being a sexy type draft even specifically mentioning a vertical pass catcher. I have a Strong suspicion we are going to take one early. If the New Orleans game was enough proof. Our WRs have been just good enough in some games but outside of DJ Moore not a threat. Terrace Marshall has started to show some flashes. First Guy I’m going to bring up (everyone feel free to bring in other names as well) is Rashee Rice. I’ve mocked him as of late. He has a late 1st rd grade by many. 6’2-6’3 and at-least over 206. He is expected to run in the late 4.3’s to lower 4.4’s. He will be at the Senior Bowl here in a few weeks. He plays in a more special spread oriented offense so he’ll have a little learning curb in the NFL. Which isn’t uncommon with modern day College players. Josh Downs is another one. He is a Alpha who is very aggressive going after the ball. Here is the thing though. Having a guy you are actively developing will give you more leeway as a HC than actively going through retreads there 2 perfect examples of that this year in Matt Rhule and Frank Reich

@Verge what are your current thoughts on Levis? I think Bryce will go off the board at 1. And while I like Stroud. I wish we wouldn’t trade Up for a QB. Allowing us to use those 2nd-3rd rd pick on other needs.
