  1. Brady I just feel there is too much smoke with him and Vegas. Lamar, there was been some smoke there as of late. They’ve been quietly setting themselves up for a move like this. Opening a Ton of cap space. Additionally let’s not forget them getting aggressive late in the Watson race. Jimmy G has the connection with Saleh, and right now they just need someone to stable the ship. Carr- you heard his brother say he wants to go in a good situation. Bucs are still in a Won now window with plenty of Weapons, and a above avg to good OL. Lance- the reason why I put him with New Orleans. They don’t have the capital or big $$ to go after a Lamar etc. and I don’t see it being attractive to Carr. Lance going into camp for a “battle”, gives the Saints the opportunity to trade a 2024 pick for a QB on a rookie contract. And is definitely a panicky type move a HC who is on the hot seat would make.
  2. Indy’s current front office really loves Levis. I could even see them taking him at 1 if they trade up.
  3. Mine Brady- Vegas Lamar- Atlanta Lance- New Orleans (post camp) Rodgers- Green Bay Jimmy G- Jets Carr- Tampa
  4. When did Ben say this. I really trust Ben. But stuff changes. It’s been known that Tepper has been enamored with these young OCs Remember it was Ben Johnson’s to lose. Then he went back. possibly one of those Coordinators he had a Feeling for and thought would be a front runner was Steichen. Maybe that guy Didn’t interview well. And now changes Teppers mind a little after sitting and talking with him.
  5. Did we hear anything about Ben Johnson going back to Detroit from those guys until it actually happened?
  6. I think that would be Reich. Which I’d be more than happy with.
  7. The guys at the morning show at WFNZ here the last hour. said their sources told them that Steichen didn’t interview well in the first rd of interviews.
  8. That’s just the imagine you painted of how you would go about addressing the QB position for this franchise.
  9. All 4 of these top QBs have shown they can be good caliber starters in this league or the elite tools to do so.
  10. Imagine thinking you should just wait for a Trevor Lawerence to fall in your lap with the 12th pick while you have 2 top 10 WRs, a top 5 TE and OL, top 3 defense before you even consider taking a QB forever rebuilding
  11. Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news and burst your bubble. By your standards it seems. There will never be a QB that’s up to your standards in any draft that falls past the #2 overall pick and those QBs that you seem to think we should only take. Teams don’t even trade off that spot. So now you have me confused. You want to be bad enough to get the #1-2 overall pick yet you’re out here campaigning to “build up the roster” By your standards and ways of building the team. We’ll still be here in 2038 going. “Well this QB class just isn’t good but have you seen the 2039 class. We should build up the roster more first”
  12. What do you think we’ve done the last 3 years. eventually have to insert the QB. You can’t keep saying “got to build the roster up first” forever. The NFL isn’t set up that way. You lose guys in FA every year. Holes open up Every Year. And could make the case “let’s wait and build the roster up” Every year we already have one of the Better OL in the league we already have a #1 WR we already have stud core foundation pieces in on the Defense on the DL and in the secondary. if your waiting until you have the top player at every position before making the swing. You’ll never get to watch them make a swing in your lifetime. you can find all those other secondary pieces in rd 2-4. Hitting on a QB there is very slim.
  13. Then sure. have fun winning 6-7 games again next year.
  14. Lance was a known project to begin with. He was a toolsy guy, but played 1 whole season at North Dakota St. He was. A risk reward guy that many teams were willing to bank on. Similar to Anthony Richardson this year.
  15. You go get one of these top 3 QBs No Ifs And Or Buts. just like drafting Will Grier shouldn’t have been the reason to not draft one in 2020. Banking on a Smaller, late 3rd rd QB from what was widely considered the worst QB crop in a decade, with some injury concerns. That gets you fired. ”but what about Brock Purdy “ Brock plays on a team that has the #1 LT in the NFL #1 Defensive player in the NFL #1 or 2 TE in the NFL One of the top 3 RBs in the League one of the top 5 WRs in the league. so yeah, if you want to go get the best players at every position in the NFL and surround Corral with them. Sure. plus this WR isn’t that strong at the top. And arguably isn’t a guy that’s worth a top 10 pick. Just go get the QB while you have the opportunity.
  16. 1st: CJ Stroud- I don’t see anyway possible that we go without taking a QB in the 1st. Only way this happens is if that Payton/Brady combo rumor comes to fruition. Even if it means trading up and away our 1st next year. Continuing to punt at the most important position in all of sports, will get you fired. And especially when you have a Owner who is as QB hungry as anyone. Carolina trades their 2024 1sts here and moves up to get their franchise guy. Additionally, I find it hard to believe a new HC candidate and Especially a offensive minded guy. That would want this job without the promise of them addressing the QB position first thing. 2nd (40): Zay Flowers- Fitterer talked in his presser taking how this will be a “Sexy draft” and “Vertical threats”. One of the very first person that popped in my head was Zay Flowers. Flowers is smaller just over 5’10 175. But is a fast, quick, firecracker/play maker. The NFL is going to more base 3 WR sets on offense with the 2 TE sets being more common is additional packages. DJ Moore is the only receiving threat and even somewhat deep threat we have. Flowers adds another threat and a true deep threat that will keep safeties from crowding the box. 2nd (SF): Luke Musgrave- If you notice a trend of the top teams. They make sure they surround the young QBs with a serious arsenal of Weapons. You see it in KC, in Cincinnati, and in Philly. TE is a position we were Awful at last year and need help badly. Ian Thomas hasn’t proved that he is anything other than a TE2-3. And Tremble is going into year 3 still haven’t showing that he is anything more than a Good blocking TE2. Luckily for us, this is a STRONG TE class. Musgrave is a Freak and a tremendous pass catcher. At 6’6 250, he is expected to run in the 4.5’s. 3rd: Mike Morris- Morris is a High upside SDE. Who started to takeoff this season. He’d be a high 2nd rd in most drafts. But due to this being arguably the strongest position in this draft. He falls some. Carolina Trades away their 5th rd pick and a future 4th to move up and lock him in. 4th: Zacch Pickens- Panthers still need help in the front 7. And really could use help in the trenches at 3-tech. Pickens has the tools and upside to develop into a eventual starter.
  17. And then sit and watch teams run all on us or sit back and pick us apart with their WR3 or TE with no pass rush. While the offense struggles to score.
  18. If this is how things actually go down. I’ll probably throw up, and may sit this season out.
  19. Will have to see what kind of Defense we use first. Not one people are thinking right off the top of their head. But I like the idea of Nolan Smith. The edge rusher from Georgia. He played more 3-4 OLB. But believe he had played regular LB early on at Georgia. he has the athletic ability and skill to play 4-3 SLB similar to the way Micah Parsons is used in Dallas. he may be one of those guys who slips and falls in our lap in rd 2
