Let’s time travel to last year
-
You’re starting to sound like our friend chuck, who’s had 100+ alts banned from here.
-
London had a good partial season. But still has proven nothing. He didn’t do anything more than Kelvin Benjamin did his rookie year. Their OL improved. But we’ll see how that last. Their best OL is Matthew’s at LT who getting up there in age with a contract they talk about every year if they need to move.
-
Didn’t Rhule have roster control too? He tell one of his own guys he isn’t OOU?
-
This And just look at the overall roster. People bitch and moan about our defense. But the fact is, we have a whole lot more to work with on that side, and it’s not Close. We have a better OL in place (if Bozeman is resigned) We have a Number 1 WR locked in. We’re just in a better position now to drop in a QB.
-
As Daniel Jeremiah said the other day “If you like one of these QBs, you have to take them. There’s no assurances you’ll have a top 2 pick next year. And if you get 3. 1 and 2 aren’t going to trade off those guys.” “You can’t afford to play the waiting game” you can have all the picks. AND #3 Teams at the top aren’t moving off that level of QB prospect.
-
I’ve been wondering about them. Though with their history. I think they’d stand Pat and take Richardson with Atlanta’s pick.
-
This multiple people who cover the Panthers already have pointed this out. We don’t have any more holes on D now than we did before. Just the holes may shifted a tad. we needed a SDE before in the 4-3 where YGM is, well now it’s at 3-4 DE.
-
QB whisper or not if you give a 5* chef a pile of sh!T and bread. He’s going to give you a sh!t sandwhich.
-
Every year there are holes every year its how the NFL works. Guys leave in FA and a hole opens. You can use the excuse Every, Single, Year that you need to fill holes and build the roster. The fact is, this is a QB driven league. So you have to have one. You have to rip the bandaid off at some point and get out of the Hampster wheel. You can find a starter at Lb, Safety, DL a whole heckuva lot easier outside of rd 1 than finding a QB outside the 1st rd.
-
It’s a 100000x less of a crap shoot than 2nd-7th rd QBs or cast offs you pick up in FA.
-
I wouldn’t say Fitty’s name isn’t in this category. He goes and gets another slap d!ck QB for a 3rd consecutive year or sits on his hands. And we go out a win 7-8 games. He probably won’t be around here next year to draft one.
-
That and guys who can play 3-4 DE
-
-
That’s just the grades they have on them too. im sure he won’t fall out of the 3rd, heck even early 3rd with how thirsty the league is for QBs
-
You’re going to need to trade off the whole entire team and purposely lose to ensure a number 1 or 2 overall pick to do that.
-
Daniel Jeremiah on his latest podcast. “If you like one of these QBs, you have to take them. There’s no assurances you’ll have a top 2 pick next year. And if you get 3. 1 and 2 aren’t going to trade off those guys.” “You can’t afford to play the waiting game”

“which is not how it was deployed last year due to a variety of factors inclusive to personnel, an offense that couldn’t score” I’ve wondered about this. We’ve heard how this should be an attractive job due to the defensive pieces. But how much has the other side of the ball is effecting it. I know we hired a experienced offensive coach. But we still have the by far worst QB room in the entire NFL. Does a defensive guy want to come in with all the pressure of having to carry the entire team due to the dead weight of the offense? We saw Fangio go to a team with one of the most high powered offenses in the NFL, and we later heard money wasn’t the main factor.
-
How did that work out with Fangio?
-
Also read the last sentence on that tweet

But is that “strong interest” mutual? He has connections with Minnesota which is the other team after him.
