Simms is a moron. He’s riding the wave off his 1 hit prediction in the Lamar Jackson/Josh Allen draft. Other than that, dude is the Skip Bayless QB analysts

Roster building is a big part of the process. Look at Philly. And what was sold and told to us was that we were in that position to make the next step, which is to compete for this sorry division. The process of implementing the new system isn’t a concern. This isn’t college ball with multi year process to get everything going. Heck, this very thing is what we alllll mocked Matt Rhule for. It’s the NFL, it shouldn’t take that long. Good coaches scheme and change things up to their currents teams strengths all the time. This staff should be able to scheme and put our guys in the best position to win day 1. Giants was just one example. But there are tons and tons of more examples. Jaguars are another one last year. Heck even when Wilks took over, we changed things up mid season and came 1 game away from winning this sorry division. So with this new all star staff that we were sold on. Your expectations Should be to win this sorry division This year. If not, it’s a Loser mentality and settlers mentality. Heck that mind set is no different than the very own person you just mocked and we ran out of town last year.

Interesting because our very own dam GM was quiet contrary to what you just said. ”We built the Defense, then the OL. We’ve built up to where we can just drop in a QB” not only A QB ”the most NFL ready QB” Those weren’t yours, mine, or any huddler words. Those were Carolina Panthers General Manger Scott Fitterer’s words. It amazes me after all the bashing of Matt Fool and his multi year rebuild plan. And then praise and point how the NFL you can turn it it around (pointing to Dabol) Some of us revert right back to “several years down the line rebuild” expectations like that clown that just got fired had.
-
Only Panthers fans 2022: ”see look what Daboll in doing in NY. Coaching matters. You don’t need several years in the NFL to turn it around” ”that was a good way to end the season. With Brady gone. With this new all-star staff we’ve assembled. The we should take the division.” ”This isn’t a rebuild. Bryce is the most ready QB in the draft. Not necessarily the highest upside.” Now ”Yeah, we shouldn’t set our expectations high. We are going into a rebuild. We should focus a year or 2 down the road.” Sounds like a fan base content with their history of no back 2 back winning seasons.

How much will those pass rushers really matter if the QB is getting the ball out to open guys within 2-3 seconds like yesterday?
-
We didn’t ? because all I’ve heard from national pundits, local writers who cover the team, fans, posters, etc that we hired one of the best coaching staffs in the entire NFL. With multiple guys who will be future NFL HCs sooner than later.

Of course I’m nervous about this OL keeping Bryce upright. But this defense. when do we start sounding the alarms. This secondary I thought coming in was a potential issue. The Jets joint practice. Rodgers shredded our secondary including picking on Horn at times (minus the 2 minute drill which their #1 WR didn’t participate in). We were then told. “Well it’s Rodgers, he’s a future HOF coach” The Jets preseason game. The 2nd string Jets offense with Zach Wilson drove right down the field and scored pretty easily. After that game we were told “We were just being vanilla not game planning” Pre season game 2. Daniel Jones started 8-9, with his only incomplete pass coming off a play where the WR was wide azz open. But the WR lost control of the ball off a big Hit from Bell closing in. Then we heard last night “we’ll they didn’t have Burns or Brown”. (Though ignoring the fact that QB was knifing us to open guys within 2-3 seconds. Which neutralizes any form of pass rush).

You should expect to win this division After you were 1 game from doing so last year even with Rhule handicapping the team the first couple games of the season. You brought in this highly touted “all star” staff.. You went up and got the top QB in the draft. And not only the top QB, but the most NFL ready one according to everyone. To not expect to win this division and make the playoffs. Taking a step backwards Is just a losers mentality

Miami fans about to jump off a cliff. They’re expected to be contenders this year. Their only OL worth a Crap. Armstead, just got carted off in practice after he couldn’t put any weight on his right leg.

Interesting We heard the reports from people using Texans OL for Strouds struggles in his debut. Week 1 preseason Bryce had avg 2.11 seconds per drop back Stroud had a avg of 3.84 seconds per drop back.
