Most contested catches 20+ yards downfield in 2020 (DJ Moore was tops)
ncfan replied to Varking's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’d be working on a extension for him as soon as I can. this dude has put up #s hardly anyone has within their 1st 3 years. this all with Teddy, Kyle Allen, etc as his QB -
This was a few hours before the Dolphins cut him.

Denver Signs top CB, now biggest glaring need is QB
ncfan replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Any QB will help them -
Broncos needs coming into this offseason. 1a. CB 1b. QB they pick at 9 right after us and probably will also be willing to move up for a QB.
-
I’m less worried about them taking a QB and more worried about them trading out of that spot with a SF. That restructure to Ryan’s deal makes it harder to move. The idea and thought of them drafting a QB was off of Ryan’s contract, and how they could move off of him last year.

IF this Watson thing comes out to nothing. He is good as gone.
-
He is going to get $$$ but how? we’re scratching our heads how we will sign him. but we have among the most cap space in the league currently. Not sure which is the most updated but spotrac and over the cap have us 4th/5th in the entire NFL in cap space
-
how much cap space do we have left?
-
Nice! Good pickup, real sleeper. Was hidden behind Lockett and the big dude

Now. Considering this is in civil court. I’m not so sure this thing will be cleared out by draft day. Now if this is playing out. Do you foresee us going ahead and trading up for a QB? Or are we so hellbent on Watson, that we don’t take a QB and hold on hope for Watson. Because the reason I say the 2nd. If this gets past the draft, the playing field gets more even. Miami and the Jets no doubt have more Capital to throw. But this goes past the draft. Most of that capital is spent. I hope we just trade up and build around a rookie QB on a Rookie deal with the foundation we’ve already built, if it were up to me.

Similar system play the same role Both playing SLB in a “4 man Front”
-
What do you see here? This is a multiple D. It’s a 4-3 defense A defense that Fitterer helped build. I has a massive athletic hard hitting move all around center piece at SS in Kam Chancellor. We now have Chinn there. Now here comes the “where does Reddick fit” part. Take a look at the SLB in this Seattle scheme. What do you see? It’s none other than Bruce Irvin, Edge Rusher Bruce Irvin. The same Irvin who played 3-4 OLB here. Now if you go back and watch Reddicks film from Temple. In Phil Snows Defense, you almost see a mirror imagine in the way they are used. Reddick Like Irvin was touted for his physical traits coming out. Now let’s move on. Cliff Avril was a small speedster DE on the Edge-> insert Brian Burns here They had a jumbo DE in Michael Bennett. Now, if you going back and look at the scouting reports coming out. What was one of the things that you saw some people note. It was his versatility and ability to kick inside. Schematically and roster building. Of course they don’t have a Richard Sherman CB or that ball hawking FS , but there are a lot of similarities to get excited about.

Report: The Panthers are "locked on Watson"
ncfan replied to MVPccaffrey's topic in Carolina Panthers
hey we aren’t spending money.....and well ......we have some space -
Albright actually came back later this even and shot the Denver and Darnold thing down
-
I mean, isn’t that how every report comes out anyways true or not. And just because you don’t like the results or don’t want it to happen don’t dismiss it. these are a lot more credible sources by the way vs the nflrumurs etc you seeing floating stuff around
