1. Jags: Lawerence 2. Jets: Wilson 3. SF: Jones 4. Atl: Kyle Pitts 5. Bengals: Chase 6. Trade! Denver moves up for Fields 7. Trade! Washington moves up and grabs Trey Lance 8. Penei Sewell: after a Historic run on QBs, the Panthers get the best OL in this entire draft. 46. Richie Grant: Panthers Trade down with the Patriots who move up for a QB who fell out of rd 1 (I’m looking at Davis Mills here). Matt Rhule has a crush, and it’s no secret it’s Richie Grant. Grant is Safety 2-3 on people’s boards. I don’t see Rhule waiting around and risk losing him in rd 3. 73. Ifeatu Melifonwu- Big Athletic Toolsy CB in this stacked CB class. 96. *Via Pats*. Ben Cleveland: Cleveland is a Big Mauler in the middle at OG. Impact starter day 1.

Not really. just like Joe Burrow last year. Though his stock jumped from his play on the field his senior year. You had to dig to find where people had him a lower grade going into the year, due to all the most recent articles.
-
Just go dig through a article that was posted before this past August
-
Link the film? Just go dig up northwestern games. And watch him
-
The actual film, the game tape. the same tape that NFL scouts had him pegged as a rd 2 grade coming into this year Before he sat out. Not the box score.
-
And then he looked avg in a few games vs guys who want be playing in the league. not taking the risk off of 1 game. Kony Ealy had a Monster game on the biggest stage. Doesn’t mean he is a top level DE not saying I fully dislike the guy, but If it were me, No Way am I taking that risk at 8. say we trade down and he’s there at 15, sure. Top 10? No Bueno

Parson’s isn’t even going to be the 1st LB off the board
-
This. he had 1 fantastic game. A few other good games. Rest never stood out. he like Dillard has the quick feet the underwear Olympic times, and shows the quickness on film. Down side he is smaller, not as dominant overall as the other Sewell or even Darrisaw. and back to the size thing. I don’t lean on the analytics, size, etc As heavily as some but factor it in. But Slater IS in the bottom 20% measurement wise of OTs coming out in the last several years.
-
Congrats, 1 game (that’s what everyone seems to carry Slater is this single game). He isn’t even OT 2 for me like several other people. This has the Andre Dillard feel to me when everyone was screaming at me blue in the face that I was wrong about Dillard, look at his feet, look at ___, etc etc.

Nope Parson’s is falling. I’m not sure he’ll even go in the top 15.
-
If Sewell/Pitts are off the board and we we stay put at 8, I’m not going to be happy.
-
I still wouldn’t mind IF Sewell were gone. To try to move down a few spots and trade with NE or Denver then grab Horn. Horn and Bouye would be a nice change to this secondary. (This, plus I’m convinced we’re taking a FS in the 1st 3 rd’s as well with Rhule’s pro day tour on Safeties) 1. Horn 2. LT 3. FS (UCF Kid)

Am I crazy to think we should trade up 1-2 spots for Sewell if he comes within Range?

Pop Quiz Hot Shot, Your the GM, Hurney Calls on Draft Day
ncfan replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’d be like Fug Yeah. Because I Know I’ll be getting a helluva return -
Defense to that. Joe Burrow prior to Joe Brady coming to LSU was Very similar. In fact most scouts had him around a 5th rd grade. Panthers new QB coach is pretty dam good as well seeing his work with Stafford and Watson. trying to hold back my excitement, but if we can fox the OL, this may turn out to be a big time steal

Still think QB IF one falls. I was thinking what if scenario. If Fields or Lance falls to 8. And say the Bears come calling offering a SF size trade package. do we take the QB or the Package?
-
Now that your here. what’s your feeling on our pick now? I don’t see Sewell fall to 8.
-
1. Atlanta is not going to trade to a division rival. 2. Denver sitting 1 spot behind us is hungry for a QB. They were mentioned in the Watson stuff and put a Competitive offer toward Stafford as well.
-
Funny. They were literally saying the same thing last year with the top 1-2 QBs then said they were Much higher on This QB class and would rather grab one from This crop. now that they’ve put themselves in QB purgatory and not in range to draft one. All of a sudden we claim that we don’t like these QBs? Bunch of PR bs

I’ve sat through the Weinke season the Clausen Season and to be honest. I don’t think I can even stomach another Teddy Season. I honestly may sit it out this season if this is the case
