  1. He's going into Year 3 of a 7 year contract. This was a tear down and rebuild. What happened last year was expected by everyone except blind Panthers fans.
  2. He needs reps to build timing with the receivers. They take that away in the name of "QB Competition". You either give the job to Baker or Sam and go from there because if it's Bakers job he needs as many reps with the ones as he can get. Sam on the other hand is a great 7 on 7 player, it's when the pads come on that he has issues.
  3. It's not whether there were or were no holes. It's that they gave it to Rhule to fix. Fitterer is a good GM, let him do his job.
  4. Can the Matt Corral love fest from that one dude stay away today? We get it. You think he's God's gift to Earth. However, since I've been a Panthers fan, I've seen one QB workout who was drafted and that was Cam Newton. Otherwise it's been Collins, Weinke, Clausen, etc. He could be a good player and he could not but constantly drooling on the practice day thread isn't going go make that happen.
  5. He and Malik dropped for a reason.
  6. Yeah, that's good for when Corral joins the 7 v. 7 league at the Y after he fails out of the NFL because he's terrible because your poo is annoying and making me want him to fail, just so you disappear. Besides, I want Grayson McCall. Local kid, 58 touchdowns to 6 interceptions, 207.1 passer efficiency rating... And yes, he played better than Caleb Williams did against their only common opponent with much less talent surrounding him.
  7. Mac and Zach played in offenses with pro style concepts. Matt Corral played in a glorified high school offense with no checks, no reads, no nothing. It was all RPO which is based off of one or two keys and then it's backyard football. It's effective, but it's also why Ole Miss is curbstomped anytime they play someone of equal talent level.
  8. Why they gave a coach with little NFL experience full roster control is beyond ridiculous. Tepper gave HURNEY roster control over one of the best defensive coaches in the league in Ron Rivera yet gave it to Rhule, who is good at what, exactly?
  9. So you're saying that turnover margin matters? NO WAY.
  10. That's a lot of demands from a dude not even playing football right now. I'm not sure if this attitude is normal but I'd hate to bring in a guy like that who wants a guarantee of playing time before ever stepping foot on the field with his "team" mates.
  11. I was as well. Happy my sleuthing paid off. Now onto yours. How would you like it? Seriously, do extended warranty callers get calls about their own extended warranties?
  12. Winters and summers in Kentucky are brutal. Pavement made today isn't up to the standard of old. They basically fill in cracks and holes with sand and some black food dye and hope people don't notice.
  13. You'll give credit to what? You know Rhule?
  14. What? He led the NFL in yards and touchdowns last year, I think? Was Cooper Kupp away from the NFC Championship game... Just what? Come on man.
  15. It's not that difficult if you have access to the internet and don't have any metabolic disease brought on by chronic eating of poison (i.e. hypothyroidism, PCOS, diabetes).
  16. We don't know poo about Baker or Sam with a west coast offense. I'm hoping Baker shows out and we can get some Sean Payton plays built in.
  17. Literally no one holds out anymore because it's pointless.
  18. Literally no one holds out anymore because it's pointless.
  19. "Is anyone NOT going to mention Murray?" We were all doing fantastic, not mentiong him, until you said something.
  20. Coaches shouldn't organize these, players should. The point was that this isn't a player led team team because it's bereft of any real leadership. Baker shows up and BAM, everyone of the quarterbacks are working out together, got CMC out there, etc. Told yall, Baker is the leader the Panthers have been missing since Cam, Olsen, Kuechly, and Davis left.
  21. Well, they are on a team so I'd hope they would. The obvious lack of leadership since Rhule took over this team is kind boggling. Under Rivera you had very clear cut alphas to rule the roost. Under Rhule, you've got a lot of beta cucks just following no one blindly.
  22. I'm from NC. Don't have a radio voice but I almost certainly can talk about matters related to NC sports with some contextual experience. The Walmart Tar Hole fans wouldn't like me very much though.
  23. Then that's a problem of the team, not Baker. If they can't handle some constructive criticism from the guy watching everything unfold, that's on them. Joe Thomas (ultimate football name for the position and team) retiring was the end of cohesion there.
