  1. Three quarterbacks, seven or so position coaches, and new defensive coordinator, all in one season. I'd like to see another coach do what he's done with what has gone on herez especially considering the dumpster fire that Rhule left.
  2. Which is why we can still fire Mcadoo and draft some playmakers at receiver. We are running out of necessity. We don't have the athletes to throw the ball all over the field. Our tight ends are garbage and that's really the difference in today's passing game versus 2004. That said, we are a half game out of first place in our division.
  3. Can people give Wilks some credit now? All I've seen here is a laundry list of things he hasn't managed to do. Let's look at what has happened. 4-3 record after stepping in during a 1-4 start, playing three different QB's letting go of what seemed like half your position coaches and replacing a coordinator, all while having, perceptively, the worst tight end group and lower tier pass blocking offensive line in the league. The Seahawks were playing well and relatively heavy favorites at 4 points (pretty decent spread in the NFL) in this game yet the Panthers man handled them. Give credit where credit is due. This man may not be here next season but he has done better than anyone expected him to be able to do.
  4. Horn with two of the best INT's I've seen from the Panthers in a long time. Nevermind...
  5. In short, it doesn't matter who is QB, the result would be the same right now.
  6. And that's why you run the ball 40 times, when it's working. Seahawks defense is burnt toast. It's not fun to watch when it's not working but man is it beautiful in the 4th quarter when two, 200 lb running backs just blast through the holes. Can we give Wilks some credit now? The Seahawks have played most of this season like a playoff team and assuming we win this, Wilkes will have a winning record playing three different QB's and a change in position coaches and defensive coordinator.
  7. It's not Brady's fault. Their offensive line is terrible and Todd Bowles is who everyone knew he was. I'm surprised they haven't fired him yet.
  8. We can't spend more draft picks on QB's where we are picking when QB isn't our issue. We need play makers and an offensive coordinator. Sam with the Rams would potentially look like a Pro Bowler. It's not him. We figured he had a competent coaching staff when he got here but guess what? He didn't. So he's played under Adam Gase and Matt Rhule.
  9. Wilks isn't calling the plays bro. Not sure if you are aware.
  10. Anyone who thinks that this is a QB issue isn't paying attention. This isn't on Sam. If they would watch All-22 they'd see that our receivers aren't getting open and by the time they are, Sam's window for making a decision is closed.
  11. That was low key a great effort by Sam on 4th down. Should've kicked the field goal though. Our offense can't move the ball through the air and it's been that way all season. Our best receiver is Moore, but the tight ends don't threaten anyone on the edges or in the middle of the field so safeties almost always go with the receivers.
  12. If that's not pass interference then I don't know what is.
  13. Our receivers suck, or the scheme sucks. I don't know which, but people are not getting open no matter who we play.
  14. The fug you talking about? Our offensive line is getting beat, then we run a naked bootleg to the short side of the field and none of our receivers got open. He isn't seeing ghosts. He's feeling the pressure that's actually there and is reacting. Any other QB and that's called "pocket prescence". Our receivers can't get open and that's not Sam's fault. Our OC is a has been and his system sucks. Look at Baker after two days with the Rams. If there is anything we had figured out by now, I assumed it would be that QB isn't our issue.
  15. Mac-e-Doo's passing system must be too easy to defend. Literally no one gets open no matter who is playing QB.
  16. Unpopular opinion: I'd rather draft an offensive playmaker and keep Sam and Matt going forward. I think either of them are going to be bigger options moving forward than spending more draft capital on yet another QB who is unlikely to be better than either of them. Considering we aren't taking, I'm inclined to think that the FO feels the same.
  17. Why are they so mad? They missed an obvious roughing the passer call the previous drive.
  18. Dude tackles Sam 3 seconds after he throws it, no flag. Then he celebrates a sack by smoking a joint? Man of character. That's who people want their kids looking up to. fuging loser.
  19. That's why you run the ball, even with Hubbard. You can't have anyone in just to receive or block because it gives the play away. If all Panthers RB's run, the defense will still have to defend the pass and run. It opens up crossers like Shi just scored on.
  20. That was the best defensive play I've seen all year, maybe even in a few. That is what you call PROGRESS, friends.
  21. What Baker showed is that we don't need to be desperate for a QB. We need to be desperate for an offensive coordinator and weapons, period. Sam could be a competent starter in the NFL with a competent coaching staff. I don't know that he's had that in the NFL. If he was with the Rams he would be lighting it up too.
