If there is little to no improvement this year, he won’t be a Panther next year. His first year was so bad that if he sucks again, we will be picking in the Top 3 in 2025. Honestly, that may be best case scenario for us because I really don’t think Bryce’s ceiling is that high.

It seems different because the draft room looks different. Tepper isn’t featured there, and maybe that’s by design because they heard all of the noise. regardless, we know who wanted Young and it wasn’t Fitterer or Reich. If we had taken Stroud, there really is no telling how things might be different today. I don’t dislike Fitterer like you all seem to. I think he was scapegoated, as was Reich.

A 4.5 laser timed 40 in an era where you have to cover? You don’t like that? He will probably play a Chinn type role.

No one knows how this will pan out. Many say this guy was the best back in the draft and that Lagette is a freak of nature. Panthers got two guys at the top of their board. That’s all you can do. you were likely praising the trade up for 5’9 185 lb Frat Bro Young last year.

I said this on another thread, this seems like a Morgan and Canales draft unlike the last few years which seemed like Rhule and Tepper. Or last year which seemed like Tepper playing GM.

You think Dan Morgan is a moron? Isn't Kuechly also in the Front Office in some capacity? You know he has Dan's ear. Morgan and Kuechly together could probably put together a great team, given time. We were run by morons with Tepper and Fitterer trying to run the show last year. Now it really seems like Tepper isn't as involved as he has been. Canales seems like a morgan guy and this pick seems like a Morgan decision.

Kirk Cousins is the most under appreciated quarterback, by fans, in the NFL. All he has done it produce, and he produces clutch moments. He has had to fight this stigma since he was drafted with RG3. I’d have planned to keep Cousins for a few years and then move on, but taking Penix at 8 was dumb. Now Cousins knows you aren’t committed to winning now. He could’ve taken them to Top 8 or so offense with the weapons on that team, and all they had to do was add one more. Instead they take Penix. poo is hilarious and Panther like. rivals? No, friends in misery.

We handed the Bears Caleb Williams and DJ Moore. All we had to do was suck one more year, which we did anyway, and we would have them both.

I hate all of those options. HATE. Suck again until Arch Manning comes out. Deal with it.

Maybe he works out, I don’t know. But Tepper hasn’t shown the capacity to find a quality head coach yet, in any sport he operates.

The fact he has been able to produce behind the offensive line we have while $24 million Miles Sanders couldn’t should tell you what you need to know about his potential. He was a monster at Oklahoma State, he’s been a monster in Charlotte despite having one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL in 2.5 of his 3 seasons. That got figured out under Wilks but, Tepper gonna Clemson. or something like that.

Doesn’t matter who the running back is if the offensive line and scheme are trash.

I said this back in 2020 when we traded for Darnold. Why do we continue to give up picks for potential QB's? Then we go and trade up to number one to draft one and will probably be drafting another at number one next year. The amount of wasted talent we've had via loss of draft picks is exponential.

I would like to see Carson Wentz with Canales, personally. If he could do what he did for Baker, I'd be intrigued with what you could do with Carson.

Spencer Rattler. That's an easy pick for me. Not an SC fan but man, put any other QB on that squad and they'd do half of what he was able to get out of it. They were horrendous around him.
