  1. Jordan Love has really impressed me in how he seemingly remodeled everything about his game after Rodgers. He has a lot of the same movements and motions now. If he can get there mentally, he is going to be an interesting watch.
  2. His adjustment is going to come physically, more than mentally, I think. Windows are tighter in the NFL so he's going to have to figure out when he can and can't make certain throws that he could get away with at Alabama.
  3. No, that's not PI at all. Defender went straight for the ball and popped it up.
  4. It literally means the same thing. Taking what the defense gives you is getting the ball where it needs to be, against what the defense is giving you. He's saying that Young needs to make the defense show it's hand pre-snap, which almost everyone tries to do.
  5. Yeah. It was a good read by the corner to break off of Ian Thomas (I think) and read the route. Looks like Chark didn't expect to have company because before he split the corner had his hips turned uphill.
  6. I don't know man. If you reads the Jets Tweets, Aaron Rodgers pretty much moved the ball at will and there were quite a few holding and DPI's on the Panthers secondary. Quite a few busted coverages that led to huge gains as well. Obviously that's 7 v 7 for you when you're playing one of the GOAT's but, still, it wasn't as one sided as the tweets on this thread made it seem.
  7. This is what ended practice. Grugier-Hill in replacement of Luvu?
  8. If we are going to post the good, we've got to post the bad.
  9. If you go read the Jets message board, you'd think they won the day. I guess it's going to be impossible to get the entirety of the story considering two fields are used and Panthers people will be Panthers focused. Looks like Rodgers had a great, great day overall in 7 v 7 but when the 1's played the 1's in 11 v 11, he would've hit the ground more than a few times. Can't find much on how Bryce Young fared though.
  10. Here is the thing, everyone wants it and they want it now. Receivers typically take three years and defensive linemen take two to three years. Both Marshall and Brown are going into Year 3 and both, thus far, are showing out in camp. So I'll temper my excitement a bit about them both but neither has had ideal coaching to this point and now they are beginning to flash. Surprise? No.
  11. Burns and Brown both got to Rodgers in the first 2 minute drill. That should have everyone excited, and Jets fans worried.
  12. One preseason game may not be much but his entire body of work through Spring and now Summer, in conjunction with his performance in his first game, says a lot. If it was a one off I'd agree with you but it's not. I also watched a lot of UCLA football since most of their games were the only thing on when they played and he was smooth, fast, making quick decisions with good reads and Arm strength. Doesn't get rattled under pressure and is a good leader. None of those things could be said about Malik Willis at Auburn, Liberty, or now with Tennessee. He may not have the mental processing of a guy like Bryce Young or the raw arm talent of a guy like Stroud but outside of those two, I find it hard to believe that anyone in the 2023 draft was a better QB.
  13. Dorian Thompson-Robinson was a 5 year starter at UCLA, played in a Pro Style offense under a former NFL coach, and has backed up his game play in practice. There is literally no comparison between Willis and DTR, other than an obvious one I have a feeling you're referring to here.
  14. I think Dorian Thompson-Robinson was criminally underrated. I know everyone here loves Bryce but after seeing DTR on Saturday, I wouldn't have felt bad had we traded down in the first to collect picks and then drafted DTR on Day 3. I think he has a shot to be a dude. Looked better than Watson did at any point last year and looked lightyears ahead of Mond. I know people are going to hate this, but it's much ado about nothing considering it didn't happen. So chill.
  15. What kind of report would you have liked to have seen?
  16. I've never popped a muscle before but I've seen that poo and I couldn't imagine the pain from that tendon snapping with what, four muscles attached? Dude.
  17. Burns body type is not something you see every day. 8 foot long legs. When he gets older, will he morph from Spider-Man to Daddy Long-Legs?
  18. So that way he doesn't get murdered like he did last preseason when he got 8 reps a practice and was expected to produce on 40 snaps in a preseason game?
  19. Look, the Broncos had Wade Phillips, Demarcus Ware, Von Miller, and a number of other dudes who were really, really good. That defense was nasty. Go back and watch the AFC Championship Game where even Brady looked like he was playing in Week 3 or something. They were dynamite in the Post Season and it showed.
