Some have pointed it out that it seems like Rhule's protecting Darnold's record by letting Cam start games in this circus. I wonder if anyone from Cam's camp spoke up about it.

Was dumb then too just necessary with Cam new to the offense. This is completely unnecessary. I'd get maybe bringing Cam in for short sneaks but they're abitrarily switching them and preventing any momentum.

Yep I'd say it was both. Cam's role in Carolina from day one was to run for his life as our primary rusher and people act shocked that he didn't simultaneously develop into a precision passer. This is who we made him. Bro probably has visions of defensive ends getting at him everytime he closes his eyes now.

There’s no avoiding it, especially now that the media is rolling with this possibly being Cam’s last game. Rhule is Darnold’s last defense. Best analysis I’ve heard on the team in a while. The point about dysfunction never making sense, and that Rhule’s getting the money either way so why waste time.

You need 8 years on the original team and certain accolades to be eligible. The supermax has only been around for five, so it's kind of hard to speculate what if. AD is the only eligible player who's turned it down, Gobert took less to help the team cap. LaMelo's not ring or city chasing like the old gaurd and I believe him. He's unphased by the fame and bright lights. That stuff follows him; dude was a social media star playing in Austrailia and Lithuania. Charlotte can offer the most money. They'd have to horribly mismanage him for him to leave.

I'd like Evan Neal, Nicholas Petit-Frere, or Tyler Lindebaum. Think those three are automatic starters, after that we're rolling dice.

Personally rooting for one last Rhule/Darnold shitshow so Tepper sees that Cam is the better gamble going forward.
