  1. He's as much a franchise quarterback as Sam Darnold and less so than Jimmy Garoppolo, whatever that's worth to you.
  2. Rhule has no idea how to handle CMC. They just give him the ball all game or forget who he is and treat him like some average running back. No lick of strategy, no using him as a decoy or a checkdown, just vibes. We have the most versatile offensive weapon in football and our coaches have no clue what do with him. Another all-time talent whose career is wasting away under inept leadership in Carolina.
  3. What most don't realize about OBJ is that he's popular in NFL locker rooms. If anything that's actually part of the problem. The "cancer" label came about because teams think thinks he's a bad influence on his teammates. NY specifically started telling young guys to stay away from him behind his back. Most of Cleveland's locker room sided with him in that rift. In Panthers terms he's not Steve Smith bullying his teammates. He's like if Cam had been getting into nonsense off the field and was vocal about criticizing the organization.
  4. Seems like he'll be an upgrade for us when healthy.
  5. Fitt's made some mistakes but I'm fairly confident that Hurney would have never pulled off the Teddy, Little, and Daley trades. Erving and/or Darnold would be incredible.
  6. If we want a plug-and-play backup for CMC he's the guy. I'm starting the campaign now. Brady didn't have the vision but McAdoo might.
  7. That's the part that I don't think matters outside of media and fans. I don't see anyone going easy on Sam just because he's modest.
  8. If it doesn't matter then there's no issue, yeah? His teammates like him.
  9. Of course but that's the case regardless. See our humble and reserved leader Sam Darnold. All things equal I think players are more motivated when the QB is competitive.
  10. Think we would have been the ideal spot for him before this trade. He really needs a system that commits to recieving backs.
  11. I disagree. He's firing up his team, which can definitely have an effect on how they come together on gameday. Same reason he's drummed up a rivalry with Shaq and why Boseman calls him the type of guy you want to play for. We've been through this already with Cam. While folks complained everytime he showed emotion on the field his teammates rallied around him because he was all in. Other players wanted to play with Cam because of it. At the end of the day it's a game, and all things equal I'd bet most of them would prefer a leader who's emotionally engaged over the stoic robots that boomers want them to be.
  12. Duke Johnson Jr is a good example. Just got dropped by the Bills. Talented hybrid back whose prime was wasted on Cleveland's worst seasons and has never been utilized properly IMO
  13. huh, that's weird. all my ads are for grills and power tools
  14. In 2020 he led all rookies in contested catches and was 2nd in missed tackles. Intriguing, but still an odd move considering Shi's come up. Red zone threat?
  15. Terrace is triggering my Curtis Samuel PTSD but I want to believe
  16. Vargas's development has been nice but it's a shame it's happening at Reyna's expense. Wish they could share the field more. Bronico's finishing is worrisome. He's real good at being in the right place at the right time, if he can lock in he'll be great.
  17. The league should have made an example out of Watson. Unfortunately I think this is the tip of the iceberg.
