  1. I don't see Jordan selling the team to make a profit. Think he is personally invested in winning as an owner for his legacy.
  2. My question is what happens when/if Sam goes back to his old ways? Let him finish the season? Put PJ in?
  3. He’s great when his first read is wide open in the middle in the field
  4. Also, again, "cheapness" is reference to who/what exactly? The only examples I can think of are Kemba and Miles and not paying them ended up being the right call.
  5. Not an indictment on the franchise. The whole league was wrong about LaMelo and a healthy Wiseman would have thrived in Charlotte.
  6. It was worse back when it was unusual to root Panthers even in the Carolinas
  7. Fun fact: The Hornets had the box score for their play-in elimination hanging up all last year. In the end they made it back, got blown out even worse the second time, and the head coach was fired.
  8. If this staff is as dysfunctional as believed it's really hard to assess any of the guys we still have questions about. Baker, Ickey, Derrick Brown, TMJ, Tremble, etc. No one is playing to their potential under this clown show.
  9. Tepper's committed to the Year 3 experiment at this point. It'll take public humilation to end it now, like 0-6 or something.
  10. That'll just make it harder for LaMelo to let go. If they let Miles take the court again they should just keep him.
  11. Good one from PFF. Shortest guy to lead the league in batted passes was 6'3. Flacco did it at 6'5.
  12. I think marrying the Hornets to Miles now is a mistake regardless of how the case turns out. It's sad but he is the bad influence on LaMelo we were all worried about. Kid just turned 21 and he's already about that life with his flashy cars and IG models. This is a pivotal moment in LaMelo's career; bringing Miles sends back the wrong message and is putting a lot of trust in the guy to turn himself around.
  13. Yes top prospects show flashes of talent from time to time.
  14. Cam was brought on mid-season, had two different playcallers, and got benched in this timeframe mind you.
  15. crazy but JB dodged a bullet getting fired before this mess
  16. When he opted for Sam Darnold to try a 4th and goalline sneak over the greatest short yardage quarterback in history
  17. Ramirez was a smaller investment and less of a kiss ass. His real mistake was bringing attention to the fact that Tepper is one of the cheapest owners in MLS. Soccer's also more player driven so when the locker room turned on him he probably stood his ground (knowing his personality) and it was a wrap. Rhule "Yes, Mr. Tepper"s his way around everything and reminds us of their three year blood oath whenever he's grilled.
  18. Leaning on your new QB when you have a elite RB is not easing anyone in. Not having the RB in full form by the start of the season sounds like this staff though.
  19. He's as much a franchise quarterback as Sam Darnold and less so than Jimmy Garoppolo, whatever that's worth to you.
  20. Rhule has no idea how to handle CMC. They just give him the ball all game or forget who he is and treat him like some average running back. No lick of strategy, no using him as a decoy or a checkdown, just vibes. We have the most versatile offensive weapon in football and our coaches have no clue what do with him. Another all-time talent whose career is wasting away under inept leadership in Carolina.
