  1. I get the hesitation to trade away more picks but they aren't all equal and shouldn't be treated as such. I think there's better odds of Old Man Hopkins making an impact than some late rounder. I'd trade a 5th without a second thought.
  2. and we wonder why the team is stuck in win now/rebuild limbo
  3. Well we have to go deeper into it than we've been to really utilize him. His skillset's like CMC and our ground game been a lot of power running up the middle. So he has to get up to speed AND the offense needs to evolve a good bit. We may toss him a couple screens though. FWIW, it could be lip service but Tarik thinks he's in the best shape of his career. That ACL is worrisome though because dude's whole thing was making fast cuts.
  4. https://www.sbnation.com/nba/2023/10/17/23920717/miles-bridges-hornets-domestic-violence-child-abuse-nba Good article that sums up my feelings. The team is fugging up royally trying to sweep this under the rug.
  5. Not giving Watson that contract is probably Tepper’s best decision so far
  6. Yeah I'm not convinced that the deep ball issue is Bryce's accuracy. More often than not he's throwing it along their route, just too late or too soon. I'm not sure how much getting that timing down is on him vs the recievers but the fact that our best route runner and probably the slowest of the group is the one thriving speaks volumes
  7. Actually, a thread free of the killjoys torpedoing it to remind everyone that that team is bad and hopeless might not be a bad idea.
  8. Surprised how typical this looks actually. These were the first three I saw on the Next Gen Stats twitter page. Hurts made deep attempts but only two more 20+ yard completions than Young:
  9. Feels like the circular debates over Cam's passing stats all over again. People zeroing in on below average completion % and QBR without any context.
  10. But is that because he's not attempting guys downfield and just checking down or because deep balls aren't being called though? We've seen him audible into deep throws. I thought we were all in agreement that Reich's playcalling sucked but now y'all are implying the dink-and-dunk is all Bryce's fault.
  11. I'd have to see it again but live it looked the defender made contact when he was about to cut and that threw the route off
  12. What kills me is how many fans think Bryce threw that away. It was on target and Hurst just didn't get there because he doesn't have burst and was knocked off the route.
  13. It's really not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Certainly not Bridgewater bad where we have to take the deep ball out of the playbook. He's overthrowing these guys by a couple of strides a lot of the time, that doesn't look like someone who struggles with arm strength to me. Faster recievers or better chemistry with them and more of those are caught. Hurst probably catches that 4th down toss for a TD if he wasn't held up. We have no one who can get seperation and no threat for 50/50 balls so Bryce's timing has to perfect to have a chance deep. It hasn't been but I'm not worried about his ability to throw downfield.
  14. Amen. Would rather have Wills rn but you’re not going far with either of those fossils in the modern NFL
  15. Chuba running well and deep audible's the move?
  16. Sam Darnold with Bryce's poise would be elite
  17. makes Ed Dickson look like Greg Olsen
  18. Hope LaMelo realizes now that his boy's a lost cause and attaching himself would be career suicide. Again, Melo's probably the most popular NBA player among kids right now (including Drake's son lol)
  19. Making this racial when it's clearly generational is dumb as hell. I guess Shaq clowning NBA players on TNT is "black-on-black crime" now? Give me a fugging break.
  20. The mugshot smirk is making my skin crawl. Not watching until they drop this dummy.
