  1. We know teams do controlled leaks through these media guys. Look at the NBA with Woj and Shams. Otherwise they'll just find an inside source. Better to atleast control the narrative yourself. I think the calculated leaks from the Panthers are too obvious though. During the push for Watson I remember convenient rumors going around that sounded like they came straight from Tepper's mouth
  2. a bag of grass seed in the basement of BoA marked "for Christian Pulisic only"
  3. A QB we let go just got a $100m dollar deal after one season with Canales
  4. "Going through the motions" is spot on but I think that was because he was a rookie expected to lead a dumpster fire with clueless coaches, not a lack of caring. All he had to go off was prior knowledge. Looked mechanical like he was back in QB camp, but in a bad way because the scheme and personnel weren't doing him any favors. But yeah I need to see some fire from Bryce now. More of the emotional moments we saw last year. Rookie grace period is over and his college accomplishments are firmly in the rearview. His work ethic was hyped up as much as the processing. I'll be excited if he hits camp like he's got something to prove.
  5. I figured. Morgan was signaling pretty hard that we wanted to keep him.
  6. I'd rather a TE in that case. Really don't like adding a third RB when Sanders isn't playing up to his contract yet.
  7. The return on Burns sucks but going all in on the o-line makes sense to me. If that group's finally strong then next season is our definitive look at what Young is capable of. If he continues to struggle then we've already rolled out of the red carpet for his replacement. The defense has been thoroughly gutted though and that worries me.
  8. In the end Tepper got taken by metrics yet again. Rhule conned him out $60 million talking analytics and it was wrap for Stroud when that test score came back. Pray he's learned that football doesn't work like the the stock market.
  9. So now you're mad that she's not talking about football? Concerts and events are the kind of extracurricular bs I would expect her to be on. Who cares
  10. With all of our needs on offense I can't imagine a scenario where a quarterback is BoPA
  11. What's the "gotcha" here? I thought Nicole was our acting GM but she says nothing football related in this clip.
  12. And risk re-injury for what? A lower pick in the draft? They've probably been ready for awhile but are being kept on ice at this point.
  13. No but "this isn't the right situation for Russ" and "I know exactly what he wants" in the same breath says a lot. He could just think Wilson's washed though, that's what I gathered from the clip. He praises his character but avoids talking about his ability.
  14. Steve stop lurking and post with us big bro
  15. Sanders was talked up as a pass catching RB when he was signed and was one of Philly's leading recievers his rookie season. What happened?
  16. I actually think Dalton is the better option for winning now. I like Wilson because he's more of a direct comparison to Young (allegedly) and the familiarity would help develop Canales. No team is going to scheme around him like he wants. We just happen to be building a Russell Wilson inspired scheme already for Bryce.
  17. Russ is a dweeb but the continuity would help Canales get his feet under him and Wilson would get a scheme that's indirectly catered to him. I'd prefer him over Dalton if the price is right.
  18. The only people being dunked on are the morons who believe the pick came down to a crush the owner's wife has and that Reich was put in a hostage situation over it. It's completely valid to criticize her role but it's been exaggerated.
  19. It’s more than the stupid photo y’all been citing for a year
  20. They hinted at it after the draft. No mention of Nicole and Bryce being close here but clowns locked on to a picture of a hug. https://www.panthers.com/news/conviction-inside-story-panthers-2023-nfl-draft-bryce-young
  21. Yeah we have a short QB who rarely goes deep ffs. It’s crazy to me that TE isn’t a priority.
  22. The stark contrast between his confidence and Stroud's last year. More like Levis the way he acts like there's nothing to prove and it's all a big joke.
  23. I don't like it personally but the more I think about it all of this is probably going to work out in his favor. He might lose a couple mil if he falls in the draft but it'll be worth it long term to go to a better team, and one that's willing to let him call the shots like that. How Bryce, CJ, and Caleb pan out I think is going to change how the top prospects approach the draft going forward.
  24. Sanders makes too much money to just be spelling Hubbard. Take advantage of Chuba's come up and make them a real Smash & Dash duo. Misdirection in the backfield will make everything easier on them and Young. I like your roster building ideas.
