NFLPA Exec Director calls out the league over the turf
MechaZain replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
They have this tech already similar to basketball courts. The problem I read is that it’s hard to do as a renovation. The mechanism for it and the storage for the surfaces need to be thought out when building the stadium. -
The point of the comparisons is to show that it’s meaningless it’s not to say he’s going to be a hall of famer because he had a rough debut.
-
Young took accountability postgame he's no Teddy
-
Pretty obvious from the broadcast he either missed Bates altogether or thought he could squeeze it past him. On one of the picks at least (I think it was the first) Bates is clearly in his line of sight when he throws
-
Had a lot trouble getting the hike off through the crowd noise too. Got to get some bass in his voice.
-
Bryce knows this and tried to force it through anyway. Bad decision. I saw more positive than negative out of him but call it like it is. His mental game is held to a higher standard because he does not have the physical traits to bail him out of bad decisions.
-
Peyton threw 28 picks year one. All that matters is how Young moves forward.

2023 Charlotte FC Game Thread
MechaZain replied to MillionDollarCam's topic in Charlotte Football Club
Just watched the Nashville game holy poo. Penalty looked like bull to me but whatever. That Bender attempt before the Arfeld goal, dude missed Westwood and someone else open and waiting at the top of the box. Guys still don’t have a sense of where each other is. Lots of outside shot attempts when only Karol has the kind of power to do that consistently. -
Makes a lot of sense for them. The zip on Corral’s release is legitimately Brady like. If they can coach up his accuracy he could be a good system QB.

I think Copetti would be really good in a proper scheme but not in whatever we’re doing. Ends up being a hotheaded liability more often than not. -

Draw was probably the best result tonight. The team is unorganized and lacks chemistry because of Lattanzio’s position shuffling. They just chuck up crosses and pray. If Khalina and the defenders were on the same page we don’t give up that goal. If Jones isn’t playing forward for whatever reason they probably would have had more chances. I think they said we have the same amount of points as we did at this stage last year lol -
Naw Mitch put his foot in this one. Great deal for both sides
-
Lmao if PJ gets back on an active roster first you owe me a beer now @Mr. Scot
-
Look, I’m sure it’s more likely than not Grier was undercoached, but PJs been the better NFL QB so far and that’s just a fact. Maybe Grier will end up being but let’s wait for the guy to get a regular season win or touchdown under his belt before invalidating PJ’s career.
-
So what you’re saying is PJ had a worse coach and still put up better stats than Grier ever did here
-
You can’t be talking about their Panthers stats, right?

Did we just pass drafting Cam Newton Jr….
MechaZain replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Richardson isn’t as strong as Cam but I’d say he’s more athletic. He put up impressive numbers at the combine and I can’t imagine Cam doing that standing flip he did there. It’s ignored in the comparisons because they’re both imposing guys but I think it puts AR on a much different trajectory than Cam. -
My only concern is how he's going to handle rollouts that aren't designed. It's a critical part of Young's game and footwork is Ickey's biggest hurdle.

I'm glad we just got the top prospect at the position for a change. I'm excited to see what this team is capable of when we don't have to worry about the QB making the throw. People keep discounting it because they think he's maxed out already but Bryce's upside is Hall of Famer With Multiple Rings. His skillset has proven success in the league. I believe in AR but he has a long road ahead of him and it remains to be seen if that style of play is even sustainable. Cam was practically superhuman and it wasn't enough. -
8.8% chance per game is crazy
