I really didn't want James Cook to put up 300 yards today, but he might put up 400.

Some impressive young and veteran pieces on this team and definitely more than there's been, but there are still too many people in important positions who are simply unplayable at the NFL.

Likely Moton's last game of the year and another reason why he shouldn't have been extended for big bucks.

No, it's actually right. I looked it up on PFR. Since week 8 at Denver last year: 26 TDs passing, 6 TDs rushing (32 total TDs) 11 INTs, 5 lost fumbles (16 total turnovers). When you factor in the record and the yardage, he's a respectable game manager. Whether he was acquired for that or not is irrelevant 2.5 years later. He is what he is. Dude is not gonna be the franchise QB people thought he'd be, but he's also not one of the worst QBs who ever played an NFL snap like others think. As bad as people think he is, you could -- statistically speaking -- do far worse (look at guys who've started here, like PJ Walker, Will Grier, Randy Fasani, Taylor Heinicke, Frank Reich for that matter). That's the scary part.

But Chuba's also a human being who isn't going to just lay down and accept being Wally Pipp'd.

So you're confirming he's an upgrade over most coaches here.

Chuba has earned more than the benefit of the doubt over his career here. He'll turn it around.

Happy for XL to have a good game, it's been forever. Both QBs were just barely effective enough today and anyone who feels otherwise has an agenda one way or the other. Shout-out Derrick Brown and the defense!
