You seen all the 3-win teams' schedules this week? Every one of them should win.
-
and then, Mingo was good about fumbling even if he caught it. XL's hands are not good but you can hope they'd improve. Mingo just couldn't get separation.
-
I'm not high on XL but he's already better than Mingo was or ever will be. He gets open and sometimes makes catches. Mingo couldn't do either. As for predictions, I think I said 0-1 wins. Maybe 0-2 wins? So 4 wins is better. Sucks to lose all the close games at the end of the year but beating the Cardinals and knocking them out of the playoffs helped that.

Dalton was complete ass in the games leading up to his injury. Maybe you beat NO the second time with him, you probably beat the Giants, you do not beat the Cardinals. So you'd have 1-2 fewer wins. Not more. Because you're also taking away Young's rushing numbers in hopes of more Dalton pass yardage, which as we saw in his last 4 starts, was by no means a guarantee.

OFFICIAL Panthers vs Buccaneers Game Day Thread
Joe Bear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Lights out: 54% completion, 223 yds, TD, INT; 71.5 QB rating Average: 54% completion, 203 yds, 2 TD, no INT; 100.7 QB rating -
There's literally no way Young would beat out Wentz/Lock/anyone without you saying the competition was rigged from the start. I don't even need to wait to know that response. And before you say "oh but you think Young is the greatest ever" no, I don't, read my posts sometime to get my opinion on Young. I'm just not as much of a hater when a guy is playing like he's played the second half of the year (better than 95% of this awful roster).

I’m really unenthused about Pineiro’s abysmal second half of the season. But the question becomes: if you get rid of him, how confident are you that his successor is better? Joey Slye sure blew up in Rivera’s face.
-
If he didn’t outright cost us the first TB game, he surely deserved half the blame.

Could be a 1999 Steve Beuerlein where everything comes together for a veteran QB (but they still don’t have enough pieces to go very far).

That’s a screenshot, big dog. Not MS Word. I don’t even have MS Word. I use a Mac. Go get some breakfast, man. Have a good one.

I mean, I’m self-aware enough and not so thin-skinned that I’d have a laugh if someone looked up my 97-0 loss prediction against KC back in September. I don’t mind admitting when I’m wrong but that puts me in the minority here The reason I did it was because the people I highlighted, some more than others, like to pretend they’re always the smartest people in the room — and yet their present-day takes about the guy they dislike are the same as their takes about the guy they wish we kept.

Until there are genuine NFL players taking the field in a Panthers uniform on defense, the person calling the plays can only do so much.

If that’s what you call getting upset, then you’re having a meltdown today my guy.
-
Clearly, you can’t see very well. This thread provides another litany of examples.
-
I’d have done it for a backup role, too.

The “see, I told you so” crowd always seems to have never, in fact, told us so — and they really don’t like it when a five-second Google search of year, site and username puts the back-patting to a stop.

Google makes things pretty easy to find. And I’m simply presenting what was said. If you have an issue with that, perhaps you shouldn’t have said it. For my opinion. I still don’t think Mayfield is that good — like many, he puts up his best stats against all-time weak defenses. Darnold was alright here and I was fine with keeping him in a backup role.
