  1. Depends on who the new coach wants, too.
  2. i like Bryce and I like Canales. Neither of them deserve another year here. Bryce is a game manager and if you loosen the leash on him and make stupid calls like play action and 2nd and 2, instead of being a smart coach and running the ball again, you get what you deserve -- and that's Bryce making a poor decision and turning the ball over. Running an offense like he's going to carry you again will lead to Bryce Young, 2026 Steelers backup QB, and Dave Canales, 2026 Seahawks Offensive Consultant.
  3. Mustard-based is definitely best for chicken. For real NC pork BBQ, it's vinegar-based. That tomato-based ketchup stuff is not for most people and as for Alabama white sauce, speaking as a former resident of Alabama...it's definitely best for the trashcan.
  4. UNC has banned Patriots staff from the entire football program. Zero access. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/46159090/unc-belichick-ban-patriots-staff-program
  5. I'm getting strong 23-20 loss vibes, followed by a few absolute blowout losses. I'm interested to see, since Canales likes starting games with aggressive downfield passes on first down, does Young get intercepted on the first play of the season again?
  6. I’ve never seen someone get so upset about calling out dumb posts that they won’t let it go nine months later. Unsurprisingly it’s the chronically online person who spends half his life telling others they’re upset. Hysterical.
  7. Kind of like the fact your entire identity is wrapped up in whining about Bryce Young, yet you get butthurt when someone calls out Xavier Legette once for dropping passes and suddenly that means it’s all they talk about? Is that the kind of consistency we’re expecting from others? The kind where we set double standards and try to create things to argue about? Hilarious.
  8. Kind of strange for people to fabricate stories about things other posters didn't say just to further a narrative that they're somehow consistent and no one else is.
  9. Person's sensationalized report is a ploy to turn fans against Coker, using comments from the coach who has far more recently complimented his approach, conditioning and his performance. Two weeks ago he's irreplaceable, but now he's a fat JAG because y'all bought into one web article.
  10. As bad as it is, it's still marginally better than NBA free agency reporting, which is all about whose "camp" is mad at who and who wants to team up with who to dominate headlines before going 51-31 and bowing out in the second round.
  11. I'm hoping to at least go 1-16. That's how much confidence I have in the 2025 season, and even that seems unrealistic the more I think about it.
  12. We don't have much to go on other than a handful of preseason plays and whatever's regurgitated from media folks. Mitchell caught a wide-open, WIDE-open TD pass, which was awesome, but Evans does the same thing in that instance. Either way, I've for the umpteenth consecutive year set the bar at hopefully a record as good as 1-16.
  13. James Mitchell has been in the league for years and Evans is a rookie.
  14. Well, Arch is out. Who are the Panthers taking No. 1 next April?
  15. The only bright side is the last time Coker came back from injury he immediately balled out.
  16. Are you fuging kidding me? fug this season already.
  17. You're thinking of D'Onta Foreman in 2022. Mike Davis averaged fewer than 4 YPC and never eclipsed 90 yards on a 5-12 2020 team that lost 9 of its last 11 games.
  18. Auburn is a basketball school that wastes its money on football ineptitude, but they do have an excellent WR corps this season. That'll definitely help. I don't see them ever beating Alabama again, though. Six wins should be their goal this year. Anything more is not very realistic. They're two years away from being three years away. Miami is always hyped up too much, but it's more justified this year. They won 10 games last year and were a Cam Ward business decision away from 11 wins. Beck is a good QB and the pieces are there for an ACC Championship Game appearance, but they'll fall a bit short due in part to a questionable defense and Cristobal's patented late-game coaching gaffes. If App State doesn't beat UNCC, that's an awful look on their staff.
  19. I was definitely impressed with Mensah. That dude's a baller.
  20. Love the way Duke came out and dominated Elon in the second half. Did not love the way they played at all in the first half. Got a lot of missed tackles on film for this week and the next game's not gonna be easy at all.
  21. I really can't name one other than the Mingo trade. Glad to see some others.
