Nah man. You know better. Hang with the great teams but find a way to lose, then get blasted 44-3 by a bad team.
-
I appreciate the optimism but Legette is garbage. He can't play.
-
Doesn't mean anything when you lose heartbreakers only to be rewarded with shitty rookies.
-
I mean, yeah. Legette is hot garbage and Brooks is going back on IR. There's two of your top picks, one making only negative contributions and the other injured and making no contributions. If Legette plays the whole season he's gonna lead the league in drops every year. I don't know that I've seen a WR get this many snaps and suck this bad, it's like when Tim Biakabutuka could get five touches and fumble three times. Legette is a stone-cold bust.

Hammer Dallas moneyline.

Has your return to playoffs timeline been adjusted?

8-12 years. -
Young against the Giants was serviceable. He's been above serviceable for the last four games aside from that. Hubbard, today, was serviceable. He sucked last week. Legette hasn't been serviceable for weeks.
-
Lock Morgan and the Teppers out of the war room in April, please.
-
Some of his last few starts were pretty similar to Young's first two this year. Dude could run backwards and fumble with the best of them.
-
Nah he would've been gone by 40, let alone the third round. He was not a reach. But he's not good, so that's another notch in Morgan's bust belt.
-
Aside from his first NFL start, Allen couldn't hit passes downfield worth a damn unless the WR was wiiiide open. And even then, it wasn't a lock.
-
We'll say this nine times next April, too.
-
Basically, Legette as a WR.
-
In the event that Coker doesn't go on IR (I expect early next week he will be shut down), Legette needs to get deactivated or solely used as a returner.
-
The biggest problem the last month has been the wide receivers. And Hubbard has 1,000 yards, but he averaged a whopping 3 YPC today and had a game-losing fumble a week ago. Is he balling?
-
Problem is, he gets worse every week. I think the time he needs is to be on the damn bench collecting dust (maybe it'll fall off him too). Or, put him at returner. He's worthless out wide.
-
Dan Morgan adopted another dawg headed for the pound.
-
Should've been 32 attempts for 224 yards, 2 TD and 1 pick, but for Dwayne Jarrett in the 17 jersey.
-
Yeah when a guy's reaching out like that, it's not in the bread basket so it's not super easy. But a first-round pick worth a damn hauls it in and keeps it. Legette didn't let it fall out of his grasp, which, pathetically, is progress -- but he didn't finish the play.
-
I can't trust Legette to make a play and if you can't trust a guy to ever do anything right, there's no point having him on the team. I get that he's a rookie but he's been fascinatingly performing worse and worse every week. At this rate, I'd be thrilled if he could get packaged in a trade early next year before his value truly tanks.
-
The problem is he simply cannot be relied on at all. A football approaching Xavier Legette's hands has as much a chance of going well for the Panthers as a Bryce Young downfield throw to a WR in 2023 (none).
-
Fair. That really pisses me off. I'm not sure what Hubbard can do to atone for that fumble (though, granted, Pineiro turned into a horrible kicker the moment he had the accuracy record, so he'd definitely have missed). Legette is a rookie, and yet he's also a lost cause. Nobody with hands this bad ever turns it around. Move him to RB with the rest of them out.
-
Hubbard had a league-average day.
-
I like Young and I'm glad he's turned it around and made some great strides in his passing game, his decision-making and his performances overall. Still, he's not a franchise-tier QB and never will be in Carolina -- no matter how cool it'd be for that to happen. He's deserved a win these last two weeks and has been let down by his teammates, but I still expect a 3-4 INT game every week. Maybe it's PTSD, maybe it's just been the inevitable being staved off, maybe I don't want to be optimistic because this team thrives on letting down those who are. Get a guy who can challenge him for the starting job next year.
-
I'm just saying, Young needs someone who can challenge him. 2-15 and 3-14 isn't enough to earn undisputed franchise guy treatment, even if some of those 14 weren't on him. And XL can be a nice #2 for the Arlington Renegades in a year. Dude has a fun personality, but Young gets more out of throwing it out of bounds than he does throwing to Legette.
