  1. According to Wilks’ fans, .500 coaching is legendary.
  2. After 2 decades of Fox/Rivera ball, I'd rather rip the band aid off and at least get an offense that resembles something from this century. If that means moving on from O lineman that can't pass protect, so be it.
  3. Yeah, typically. We all know our next puppet coach is going to choose "his" GM, at Tepper's urging.
  4. Except for Burns. It doesn’t look like getting to a QB is his thing this season.
  5. Yay. Let's go back to Fox/Rivera/Wilks ball and go .500. Back to back winning seasons isn't all it's cracked up to be. We might make the playoffs every third year or so if our division sucks enough. Hell, we might even make a deep play off run once every decade if our GM stumbles into a couple of world beating talents. It's the Panther way. I'll give the people pining for Wilks this; .500 is an improvement over the current situation. I want us to be better than that, though. (For the record, Reich's record in Indy was .547 for those of you in awe of Wilk's .500 tenure. Also, if you want to count Reich's record here, you also must count Wilk's record in Arizona.)
  6. Our coaching staff he 100 years of experience and Bryce has the “it” factor. I don’t care what the record says. This is a winning season.
  7. Imagine working for a guy like Jim Irsay, getting a fresh start at a new job and finding out your new boss is worse than the last. I think he cared but got exasperated and was too old and tired to do anything about it.
  8. The roster is the biggest problem. That's on Fitt. Why Fitt hired a coach whose scheme didn't fit our personnel is baffling.
  9. You left out "for a QB with historically bad measurables."
  10. I've never developed much hatred toward the Bills. I guess I'll go with that. Maybe Cincy.
  11. We gave up a lot to move up for a guy that can’t even take snaps under center. Lol
  12. I see what you mean, but if the new GM is hired with the understanding that he can hire his own guys after the jury comes back on Frank and Bryce, I think they would agree to that. I think Frank's biggest problem is the roster Scott assembled, Bryce is suffering because of it as well, but he's got bigger problems. (no pun intended)
  13. The new GM can evaluate Frank next season and hire his own guy after that. What we can't have is the lunacy of the HC choosing his new boss.
  14. Yeah, I've never understood where that narrative came from. He was also patient with Ron and Hurn-Dogg as well. Too much so, actually. Tepp's got a lot of flaws, but impatience isn't one of them,
  15. I understand coach-speak and PR BS, but you're suggesting that a member of the PR team told Thomas Brown, "Hey, you're just a figurehead, Frank is the real OC, but we want you to go to the press and lie about your involvement so we can blame you if it goes sideways." to which Thomas Brown replied, "okie doke!"
  16. Little bit of sophomore slump and two schemes in two seasons. I believe Ickey will be ok. I think his pass blocking will get better if he puts in the work.
  17. So our stupid meddling owner that should never make another football decision is responsible for this popular move that the HC said he was going to make before the season started? Lol Don’t ever change, huddle.
  18. That would be ideal. The new GM can evaluate Frank and Bryce next season. Fitts gotta go. His track record is proving to be awful.
  19. We need to simplify the playbook for Bryce, so why put the ball in the hands of a playmaker? Its ok though, our coaching staff has centuries of NFL experience and Bryce Young has the “it” factor.
  20. The defense got worse under Wilks, surprisingly. Again though, just because the current coaching staff/FO sucks, doesn’t mean we need to go to 1980s .500 ball. If the team played for Wilks, they should have done better than 6-6, and made the playoffs for him.
