I know. I was joking. When the organization makes a good move it’s because Rhule has been stripped of any decision making, when we make a bad move, he’s back in total control. It’s funny to me.
-
So Rhule is back in charge now? When did this happen?

Chris Simms top QB is Matt Corral and why you should listen
Khaki Lackey replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Totally agree. I'd also add, if there was ever a year to trade back, this is it. -
A number of teams passed on Slater. The media might even have a roll in that. GMs get eviscerated when they draft a player that lacks measurables and it doesn't pan out. Just keep in mind that the sports media is only slightly less stupid than the message board crowd. Think about how often they are dead wrong about things. It's easy for people to pound their chest about one thing they got right when there's no accountability for the last 10 things they got wrong. Hell, some of our long tenured posters here have never been right about anything, and they're so ecstatic about the fact that they might be right about Rhule that they can't stop posting about it.

If Rhule drafted a bunch of undersized players, this forum would magically believe in measurables again, like the posters here and every scouting department does this time of year.
-
I agree, but if everything looks good, but we can’t get wins because of bad QB play, he’ll probably get another “prove it” year with a newly drafted QB. The Darnold decision would have looked like an ok gamble if it weren’t for the 5th year option signing (which could have been Fitty’s call.) and the fact that we had already gambled on Teddy (which very well may been at Brady and Hurney’s urging. Not making excuses for the guy, but last year’s draft, when he was supposedly in total control, looks pretty good. (Especially if Fields ends up looking mediocre or worse) It’s very possible that none of the moves have been unilateral. We’ll never know.

Can we talk about Fitterer and the off-season so far
Khaki Lackey replied to mc52beast's topic in Carolina Panthers
Rhule said from the jump that he didn’t want roster control. Having final say is a different matter i.e. veto power in refusing players that don’t fit his scheme and /or culture. Any head coach worth their salt would want that luxury, few get it. Some of the bad moves from last year seemed to have Rhule’s fingerprints on them, but we’ll never know. I hate that you crybabies make me defend the dude, but damn. -

Yeah, the crybaby circle jerk got old fast. I’m sure it’s driven traffic down. I know I can’t stand to be on here too long or often anymore. -
Its really no weirder than the SJWs that ignore the fact that Kaep was ass-cheeks at football.

Panthers have reached out to Minnesota for Kirk Cousins

Well, you know what they say. Sometimes three sh!tty QBs is the charm. -
Everyone wants Rhule gone but, what if
Khaki Lackey replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
Anything can happen. I'm sure the Bengals' message boards were just as embarrassingly bitchy as ours is now. -
McCaffery's future could be.... movies?

They could do a reboot of "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" with Jonathan Stewart stealing CMC's stationary bike. -
Yeah, If Rhule turns things around, people here are already setting themselves up for potential excuses. It's a nice luxury to use hindsight, combined with making poo up, to seem correct all the time.

From worst record to Superbowl in 2 seasons
Khaki Lackey replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Uhhhh. Zac Taylor sucked worse than Rhule his first two seasons. Every dolt on this board would have talked the same poo about him as you do Rhule. I’m not a Rhule defender by any means, but this is a terrible example. -
What’s your pitch to Aaron Rodgers to come to Carolina

“Our message board is more embarrassing than the Jets and Browns’ combined. Any controversial opinions you have won’t move the needle.” -
Do the Panthers have the ugliest coaching staff in the NFL?
Khaki Lackey replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
This place is officially more embarrassing than the jets board now. Well done. -

Fire Fatty Fat Rhule!!! I want to punch his fat face! Did I do good guys? Can I be a moderator now? -
Jesus, man. The ten thousand other "fire everybody" threads weren't enough for you?

Not one of you said, “be an insufferable crybaby.” Liars. -
Agreed, but they'll just dig in harder. A gaggle of 14 year old mean girls has way more civility and common sense than the huddle as a whole.

My favorite narrative from the early Rivera days was, "Promote Chudz to HC, get rid of McDerp and demote Ron to DC!!" People actually said it on here like it was a viable possibility. Not to mention that Rivera went on to be semi-respectable and Chud flamed out in spectacular fashion and as of right now, McDermott is looking to be the best of the three.

Leftwich's first HC stint will be a dumpster fire. Hopefully it wont be here. No negatives? How about the fact that he and Arians were a clown show until the GOAT QB fell in thier lap.
