  1. From a marketing standpoint, Bryce is a better fit for Fed Ex. He’s going to be shipped to another city for a reasonable price soon.
  2. and it was his sophomore season in a new system. Calling it now, next year he’s a top 3 LT.
  3. Same. Former coaches usually give fellow coaches the benefit of the doubt rather than calling them horrible hires before the first quarter of the season has even played out.
  4. Ickey will be fine. It’s his 3rd system in three years (four if you want to count college) with garbage guard play next to him (until now.) next year he will put it all together and be a stud.
  5. This video is eye opening. Around the players, DC is not the “aw shucks” camp counselor personality that he is in interviews. We might have found us a good one fellas.
  6. Very balanced offense. DC can call a game. Our pass rush needs a lot of work.
  7. Everyone needs to pump the brakes on the Darnold talk. He was 2-0 in Carolina once. Remember that? It was the last time we had any optimism around here.
  8. I get that. I know Canales is not going into a post game presser and announce that he’s benching the QB. However, he needs to get better at coach speak, he should have gone with “we have to look at the tape” before going with “Bryce is our QB” just to bench him less than 24 hours after, because the optics made it looked like he needed to have a pow wow before making that decision. Just a bad look, imo.
  9. Tar Heel QBs suck. Get a Wolfpack or even Duke QB before going this route.
  10. I can explain the hate for you, hepcat. Bryce should have been benched after the first drive of the third quarter. The fact that he wasn't, combined with Dave C's weird "Bryce is our QB" quote after the game, then benching him the next day pretty much told us that at the very least, he needed Tepper's permission to bench Bryce, at worst, Tepper made our HC coach bench Bryce. Either scenario is not how an NFL team is supposed to function, so it means that Tepp has learned nothing after 6 years. Hence the hate.
  11. Thanks to Bryce and Stroud, It’s now proven that I’m a better QB analyst than most professionals. Ewers ain’t it. Hard pass.
  12. I didn’t want us to draft Bryce and I’m glad the experiment is over, but Jesus, some of you guys have too much hatred. You would think he sucked in college and his parents just bought him a NCAA championship and a Heisman. He’s not the first guy to be great in college and suck in the NFL. Unironically, if he really loves to play football, he needs to go the Doug Flutie route. Go kick some ass in Canada and give it another shot later as a backup
  13. Maybe a decade ago he was the Red Rifle. He’s the Red Rocket now. Deal with it.
  14. If that rule was enforceable, the NFL would never have allowed Matt Rhule a 3rd season.
  15. Our front office might give up picks to trade down
  16. Can we please stop using the “IT!” factor. That’s the only and entire reason Bryce is here.
  17. Fields is the Steve Wilks of QBs. “If we had this guy we could be perpetually .500 again!”
  18. Maybe hire Matt Rhule’s wife for next GM? Her record is better than Nicole’s.
  19. Reich was pretty well respected in the league and with garbage QB play in Indy amassed a better win % than Fox, Rivera, and coaching legend Steve Wilks. i think once he arrived in Charlotte he figured out that Isray was a well adjusted football genius compared to this clown show. That had to have been deflating.
  20. I suppose it’s either a Tepper mandate or a tank commander situation
  21. Clausen was a second rounder…and a little bit better
  22. He opted to punt to Tom Brady with his career on the line. Yes .500 1980s football is better than what we have now, but that doesn't mean it's good.
