Yes he sucks, but his biggest problem is he seems to deliver what his "bosses" want. I doubt it was him that changed his game plan from bad to worse after Wilks took over.

Yeah, I didn't make the original post about it, I just translated it. Easterby being a charlatan has zero to do with him being a Christian.

Jones: Tepper now looking for "a young offensive mind"
Khaki Lackey replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Please be true. I just want to watch a competent offense for once. -
Yeah, that was worded terribly. The Texans owner is a Christian and probably conservative. Easterby is a bible thumping motivational speaker charlatan who weaseled his was into an NFL front office job despite having less football experience than the average huddle member.

Fair enough. Between Fox and Rivera I watched two decades of accepted mediocrity. I want better. I’m tired of watching 70s football.
-
He’s Rivera Jr. If you want to watch Fox-ball and go .500, he’s your guy.

There were posters on here during the Byron Bell and Matt Kalil years that were literally saying take an LT in the first, even if the only one available looks awful. Some people like symbolic gestures to make them feel like something proactive is being done, others on here are just plain stupid.

We all owe Teddy Bridgewater an apology
Khaki Lackey replied to ENC Pantherfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Fug Teddy. Bouncing him was one of the few correct things Rhule did -
Just how deeply disliked was Matt Rhule?
Khaki Lackey replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, his initial speech creeped me out but everyone said, “players would run through a wall for him.” I thought “meh, it may work for guys in their 20s.” After all, Ray Lewis’ pump-up gibberish speeches never made sense to me either. -
If Riverboat Ron becomes available....
Khaki Lackey replied to PanthersATL's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is almost as dumb as the “demote Ron to DC and make Chudz the HC” threads from 2011. -
Yes! Another failed QB reclamation project is just what the Panthers need. Let’s go after Blaine Gabbert too. The training camp battle would be epic

"Hello Mr Newton, Coach Wilks here..."
Khaki Lackey replied to Coreyl90's topic in Carolina Panthers
Seeing as training camp reps are the only factor in QB success, I just don’t see it happening. Last year, Sam Darnold missed one rep because he had to go pee-pee and you saw how that season turned out. -
Look at our cap and our QB room.
-
Yeah, we should have stayed the course with Marty fuging Hurney. If only we gave him a second chance to redeem himself.

Jason La Canfora on the Panthers Future and CMC
Khaki Lackey replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Exactly. So far Tepper has shown patience (for better or for worse) and that he's willing to pay. Any coach or GM would come here. -
Gotta love it. That’s my du-tay.
-
Nope. Fitts gotta go. We went from good with the salary cap to bad without a QB to show for it.

The Luvu giveth and the Luvu taketh away -
We’re going old school with the end zone font

That’s hella rad -
Aaron Wilson: Tepper's patience with Rhule growing thin
Khaki Lackey replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't think any NFL coach has won a Superbowl with two different teams. Statistically, Rhule has a better chance. Payton had one gifted to him 13 years ago. if we passed up a franchise QB for that guy, I would be livid. -
Previous Game is Under Review - Panthers (Week 3 - Saints)
Khaki Lackey replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Thanks @TheCasillas. Threads like this make the huddle worth logging into. -
I like Fitts and he's done some decent things, but our cap was in good shape and now it's wrecked and we don't have a QB. For a GM, that's inexcusable.
