  1. Thomas Davis accepts his Walter Payton Man of the Year Award. Davis fights back tears as he challenges the NFL and its players to provide more positivity for the media to write about. Davis receives two standing ovations. https://www.youtube.com/watch?x-yt-ts=1422579428&v=vbMQP42bNwA&x-yt-cl=85114404
  2. Tomorrow all teams are 0-0 and the 2014 season means doodly squat. I like that aspect of it the most.
  3. Here we are ladies and gentlemen, the final NFL GameDay Thread until August. Please use this thread to discuss the big game.
  4. Breaking Bad is a better show on so many different levels, imo.
  5. Many of you completely overlooked the panty dropping effect leaving the superbowl for his woman will have on future Sherman girlfriend prospects btw. Thats gold, son. Gold.
  6. Yep. That's my main concern is that he be there for her. The kid won't remember or even care if he was there. If he loves her though, this should be a difficult decision. I can't fault him either way.
  7. Tell ya what, when my twins were born my wife almost didn't make it alive out of the hospital. She reacted poorly to the anesthesia and they could not wake her up. I split time between neonatal and intensive care for what seemed like forever. If I was not there I would never forgive myself. So please, continue to tell me how much of an easy decision this is for him to make, you single guys without kids.
  8. His point, that you missed entirely by the way, wasn't about the safety of the child. His point was that pregnancies and deliveries are not guaranteed. The mentality of "oh, everyone has kids it's no big deal" isn't the experience that millions of people have had. Perspective.
  9. Good point Not everyone has the same experiences or perspective as a result.
  10. Imagine deciding to play, missing the birth, then getting blown out in the superbowl by 21 points....
  11. Quite a few people on here were more excited about Duron Carter than Corey Brown. Let that sink in.
  12. It's a no win situation as far as the media is concerned. I respect his decision either way though.
  13. In case you missed it, RR is educating Lola on how to think like a pregnant woman.... Mwahahahahahahaha
  14. I think its more to support the girlfriend than seeing the baby born. Not much more stressful and traumatizing than child birth.
  15. Maybe if he didn't win one last year. But he has a ring already. To him personally, this one means less.
