  1. Past hour
  2. McMillan can’t get open. Bryce’s favorite target is a pure route runner who creates separation and we continue to take the opposite of that. 50/50 ball ability is great, but only when you combine it with the ability to run the rest of the route tree. Rule 1 for receivers is beating press coverage and McMillan cannot do that.
  3. sounds like you need put out of your misery. i can help with that.
  4. 1 for 5 on 50+ in 2021 and 2022. No 50+ yard tries in 2023, but made all 5 in 2024 including a 59 yarder. Promising for sure
  5. You do? Had we taken Golden, I might agree. Having him work with Theilen would have been ideal. It all seems very disjointed and stiff to me.
  6. Yeah, I know Renfrow and McD had issues so it’s hard to know exactly what was going on. McD is just a terrible coach.
  7. Unless Bryce has a HOF career, the Bears won that trade and it’s impossible to argue otherwise. This is Herschel Walker level.
  8. Please buy it and shut it down, put it out out of its misery..
  9. I fully agree with this, but there's no curing CTE. It's irreversible, and progressive. But also keep in mind his timeline went from John Gruden (and the organization's 2nd playoff season since 2002) to Josh McDaniels. McDaniels has been an abject failure as a head coach everywhere he's been.
  10. I think if you spend excessive time on a message board in 2025 you need to check you life priorities...
  11. How about 55+. Eddy had a limit at about 53 yards. I remember that Bears game where we trotted him out for a 60 yarder and even Eddy knew there was no chance.
  12. Tunnel vision? Theilen is the only guy who consistently runs his routes correctly. What do you want Bryce to do? I guess Jefferson and Adam’s should be traded too, because, you know, tunnel vision is bad.
  13. The front office has fixed the offense for Bryce. We have ZERO holes. A bit inexperience at TE and WR (to a lesser extent) but the excuses for Bryce not to live up to his draft hype are officially over. This draft should have been more front end heavy and more draft capital spent overall to fix our awful defense. The fact that we had to trade up some to chase picks on defense because we took another weapon for Bryce in round1 says everything.
  14. Weird time in the league. I think Hunter had some concussion issues and things like that. I think he took 2024 off, and realized how much he missed ball, which is very relatable. He also, given his lack of size, needed to get fully healthy to get a good honest shot at the league again. He's a typical coach's kid. Elite route runner. Excellent hands. Oakland and Clemson fans were known for saying "3rd and Renfrow." I love how many guys the panthers have added that are known for their hands. If he still has the juice, he makes the roster easily. If he does not, he's likely a very easy camp casualty. Low risk, high reward. Keep cooking Dan Morgan.
  15. Another acceptable answer is TMac doesn't drop passes....
  16. I disagree. If he becomes our franchise qb that trade was worth it
  17. I think if you get 10 plus poo reactions it should put a border around your post and label it "unpopular post."
  18. Produce or they should start to look for the next guy. The excuses are gone and either he is going to be a QB competing for a SB or they need to get another QB.
  19. Smitty has a bit of the Chris Simms complex. Became a personality, identified a mid rounder who became great (Kupp), and then ran on that juice for a while, as someone with that keen eye for talent. But over time, the hit rate adjusts and you see he's not the best at it by any means. And now they have a falsely built-up confidence in their evals and get all defensive about it. It's all good. I hope McMillan proves to be a top-WR in the league and shuts these knuckleheads up. Now it's time to get this team rev'd up for a big improvement year.
  20. Yards aren't really a good measure alone. He was one of the best QBs in the league in that stretch in most categories but yardage, heh. He definitely was not Burrows but he was pretty good. Averaged 210 yards passing, 20 yards rushing a game, plus 2 TDs a game. I'd like to see him continue to improve, but projected over a season those games were just under 4k combined yards (~3600 passing), 35 TDs, 13 TOs. Good for a starter, though not superstar-esque. His raw passing numbers would have been top 15ish, but he proved himself rushing so I don't think that should be ignored. For me personally I want to see the high level of play over a season. And he still sometimes has several series that are just total head scratchers - I'd like to avoid that, heh. May be play calling there too.
  21. Tepper hasn't changed, he's keeping his ego and bad decisions out of full public view. Dave's just making the same bad decisions largely behind closed doors. He's at least self aware enough to know he's not a fan favorite and that's why he's largely taken a back seat to media exposure. I serious doubt it was some inflection moment, epiphany, course correction or humbleness that Dave had come to realize.
  22. McShay thought it was a reach, but conceded due to the lack of blue chip WRs Tet was going high anyway. He wasn't a fan of the Scourton pick either at where we picked in round two in the trade up. He felt it was a reach because we passed on getting a better EDGE prospect in round1. His draft evaluation (in this particular episode I watched) was not about grades but fits and value. He didn't think our first two picks met the value of where selected them. He really liked Ransom pick (I think we all do) and thought the Evans selection was sneaky good.
  23. Remember when our wr were chark, thielen, mingo, Marshall and shenault and our te were Thomas and tremble.....
