Joe Person: Panthers really like Mason Graham and Jalon Walker
Shocker replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Joe Person -
That, and he can play NT & DE in this system. That is the only reason I could see him sticking around another season (and the fact he already took a pay cut). Still think it's just as likely as not he doesn't make the final 53.

Joe Person: Panthers really like Mason Graham and Jalon Walker
Martin replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
There is a reason he didn’t do any of the testing leading up to the draft. He’s a game day performer that looks less impressive outside of an actual game, but that is just my opinion. -
huh? They mostly eliminated position groups needing to pick certain numbers a few years ago. OL and maybe QB's are the only ones who need to have numbers in a certain range now, everyone else can take whatever number they want except I think the 60's and 70's which are only allowed for linemen. Which then certainly makes it easier for teams to have a handful of numbers retired without causing any issues. So still to me... 1, 59, and 89 should never be worn again and then I like the idea someone else had in the thread where 58 is now a LB only number and needs TD's approval for them to wear, but I'd like to see it become a Panthers tradition for great LB's to wear 58 and pass it along.

Freddie with Svech a close second, Aho needs to step up his game
- Today
-
Yankees have a 0.
-
The policy has changed consistently through time. Originally linebackers could wear any number because they typically played offense and defense. So this is old school AF
-
So far, the who is our MVP of the post season? Svech, Freddie, or Aho?
-
Yankees and Celtics are extreme examples, but I don't think you can be a single digit Yankee anymore.
-
Freddie made some fantastic saves in the first period to keep it 0-0. Hopefully he can stay healthy and keep his amazing play going
-
Any more safeties or linebackers to sign?
-
If he was a leader in the locker room he probably would have been retained. I think this is more about culture than anything
-
We won 5 with the worst defense in the history of defenses. I think free agency and our draft puts us over 6.5.

Leaning towards just ordering this tonight, but now I have no idea on size. Has anyone bought a bunch of jerseys in the last few years and can convey how the Game vs Limited vs Reebok versions all fit? These are both Mediums... The white one here is a Reebok one from 2010, and was when they had the "+2 length" on the tag and it was the version with the stitched numbers instead of iron on... the blue one is from 2022 and is the F.U.S.E Limited version also with stitched stuff, not the "game jersey" with the ironed on numbers/letters that they have the T-Mac jerseys in. The old one fits me fine, the blue one was always a tad snug on me, particularly in the shoulders I'm leaning going with a Large based on the CMC, but for all I know, that is made with a tighter cut due to the higher "limited" level and the "game" ones they have for T-Mac are cut more like a T-Shirt and thus will fit more like the old white one I have here, not sure. (and yes, I already tried going to a sporting goods store here to hopefully try on a Lions jersey to see, but they don't have any right now)

Strength of Schedule for 2025

I think there's a ton of potential in that WR room. But they really are unproven right now. Hopefully they live up to the hype. -
My unbelievable pile is touching the moon now-a-days. Bill is ultra control freak if there was ever one in the NFL, he's the guy. He stayed off SM and hate hate hated the media..........(wow bill what did you do in 2024??!?!?!). So this guy, 100% control freak, just gave away all his SM to a 24 year old?? He doesn't understand SM at all... This is the same level as 8 time SB winner coming to coach UNC, after all this NIL BS that drove out his other control freak coaching friends. This time line is insane.

Unless its 2021 renfrow, Moore is 30, jimmy horn was picked 208 in a weak draft.... I mean they just rid of Clowney cause of number of snaps, so Moore could follow that. NFL is unforgiving missing a full year and deal with disease is very hard to over come. The only locks are- Tmac, XL, AT. Coker is close, but if he shows up in poor shape, he could be cut. If horn wins the 5th, all George has to do is show he's more valuable than the listed above. renfrow could be a PS guy as he continues to get back in NFL shape. Moore has been on like 8 teams and just a fine fit with the Dave system. I mean for the first time in I don't know when, there is a real battle to make the #4-#6 WR room. It's good to cut good players... Lastly who knows, one or two injuries hit and George easily makes the 53. I got him currently as the #6. 4 others are right there too, I heard Dave say Kobe Hudson name during a presser. He's in the mix too.
-
Me too, position groups can already only pick in certain ranges and people just rolled out 5 numbers that shouldn't be allowed. It wouldn't take long before there aren't enough numbers.
-
Tony Pauline is a good source far as they go, he's been around for 20 years. IDK ifs its true, but he's always one of the first to report news. Shoulders are among the hardest injuries to know how to heal it. The whole gambit is use- just rehab, stem cells, just rest, you 100% need surgery, wear this, etc etc. It's one of the toughest injuries that you can still play with, as a non-WR/QB. OL and defense guys are always playing with hurt shoulders.
-
I think the early 2nd rounders already had 80-90% of the contract guaranteed. Even the guys in 50s had around the same. closer to 70% It is a start to a new standard, I wonder if the 35th guy got the same. The browns were forced to give Carson Schwesinger a full one cause he was 33rd. Someone has to stop the bleed.....Seahawks traded up for Nick, so that will hurt...

Panthers decision to pass on Walker
mrcompletely11 replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nobody else has reported on this. It was a one tweet. If this was a real thing something would come up by now. He is literally to my knowledge the only person to mention it. It's like he is a year behind
