  1. Past hour
  2. And he's the heaviest off the top linebackers. I think he's 3rd of all the linebackers eligible for the draft. https://www.tankathon.com/nfl/big_board
  3. IDK. He has never played RT and as former OL have often said, sometimes that isn't the seamless transition that fans always believe it will be. I am okay with him at whatever position he is the most dominant at, LT, RT, OG, whatever.
  4. May as well grab Tyler Warren. Bigger, nearly as fast, plays two positions but can line-up at four. They kept saying Bryce is a mini-Mahomes. But what has Mahomes been with Kelci on the decline? Give me Tyler Warren to see what Bryce can do with a guy he can just play some backyard ball with. No other position gives you that flexibility and Warren is not only the best tight end but one of the best receivers in the draft. Take Warren. Find a receiver you love later on. I'm not sure where Restrepo is going but Warren and Restrepo as the only two offensive picks would make me very, very happy this year. I'd also like Skattebo to add some physicality to the offense but beggers can't be choosers. Give me Warren and Restrepo, go defense later where the draft is deep. Walker is a JAG.
  5. I don't think they ruined him. He wasn't an NFL player. He never was.
  6. Lower floors than AR as a prospect. Now AR's floor is closer to JaMarcus Russell than it is Allen/Newton, IMO.
  7. The only thing I know for sure that will happen is we will have a commercial break when we are on the clock.
  8. We will see. All I will say is that in a draft projected to have so much potential for wild swings, it's odd that almost the entire draft sphere expects us to take Walker. Makes me believe we are being very obvious.....again.
  9. Linebackers are smaller now. https://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/the_new_wave_of_nfl_linebackers_are_changing_the_game/s1_17304_40199244
  10. Damn. I had to upload the entire draft guide because it kept drafting 2024 players. I didn't even think about checking the draft picks
  11. The league has grown since LT and lewis my friend. I'd almost say its not even the same sport. Plus you listed the defense goat and a top 5 MLB in NFL history, that's some comparisons..... I need to see if Joe Alt played against Georgia.... Just the facts are small players are ultra rare success stories, Walker has the odds stacked against him. It that what you want at #8 overall?? Im beginning to hate this draft....
  12. The problem is PFF contradicts itself saying he's best suited off ball then apparently as some are saying grading him higher as a pass rusher. Though this guy wasn't there to be part of either side of Walker's PFF of analysis and was not, as someone stated, a founder.
  13. LT was 6’3 240…Ray Lewis 6-1 250…I mean saying 6-1 245 is too small is ridiculous IMO
  14. What about 2026 RT?? Bonus the contract should be lower too. Just means finding a new LT instead of RT....

  16. This is my concern as well. I was a fan until he measured 6' 3/4.......... there's only von Miller and Reddick for the small success crew. Not to mention his arms, length, weight, etc/ he's just small......I hated drafting a small QB. The odds are against them. I even thought back to Elvis dummville, who was 260 LBs *but 5'11.... There's a reason for not many small OLB success stories. I think Williams would be a better OLB/ panther fit. Im shocked Dan listed walker as a OLB. I think Walker is a LB, he's even small there too.... Plus given he's not Luke, he's not worth #8. Finally imo he is maxed out as player with his small comings and history of being like a DC on the field. My hope is for a great trade back package, that Brandt and an cannot say no. Let some other team find the luck God with walker...
  17. He's in the building and I heard after one of Dave pressers reference Eric. He made dave some 3rd down models and success rate of certain play calls. The many details too much to list. You know Tepper is a analytics guru, he finally got one of the biggest NFL analytic brains in Eric. Will it = success ??? No clue, but you got to believe they are using his models. Best I recall Eric was a founding member of PFF and worked there for 4 or 5 years, then did consulting around 2022, and tepper gave him a huge bag and what ever job title he wanted. Personally I have never cared for PFF, its just like another forum members opinion. I do not follow the NFL like a hardcore fan and my opinion of PFF has changed some. If I don't have any clue on a player, using the PFF report is a ok start.

  19. My concerns about Walker have nothing to do with who I'd take and everyone knows who that is anyways. If we're taking a 3-4 OLB, I'd rather they be someone who would be a full time pass rusher, who if/when we switch back to a 4-3 in the near future, can seamlessly transition into being a full time DE, which I don't see Walker being able to do. And don't take this as me saying I don't like Walker in general, I think he could be a very good player. I just don't like taking him at 8 given the positional fit issues with him. I'd rather take someone with a lower ceiling but a higher floor because they fit a true position, not someone who is going to be alignment and situation dependent like Walker is likely going to be, particularly early in his career.

  21. I vaguely remember hearing about this. Briefly perused a sub reddit about him. He worked for Pro Football Focus. And apparently he had some past takes about our starting QB. I don't know how much to value knowledge from guys like this who really aren't all that different from the average sports bettor in terms of insight. I guess maybe he can help? https://www.reddit.com/r/panthers/comments/1cnfusn/person_panthers_plan_to_hire_sumersports_vp_eric/
