  1. Past hour
  2. this was stupid and immature and anyone who thinks it was funny is just as immature. just a jackass move for anyone on anyone. makes me want to cheer for Shadeur now.
  3. I don’t get it. He doesn’t threaten a defense at this point. He just takes what they want to give him. Maybe we’re playing 4D chess with Tepper’s money and are bringing him in to show the young guys what’s possible with great footwork? Trying him out as a coach-in-waiting? Otherwise…meh.
  4. nothing against him, but i hope he doesn't make the team unless he blows the doors off everyone. i just don't like the idea of us being in such shape that we let a guy who took a year off last year get a roster spot. i'm sure he had good reasons, but i'm more interested in seeing the younger guys get a shot or David Moore since he proved himself last year with us.
  5. If Bryce plays well, I think we're a 8-9 win team. I expect the Saints will suck, Atlanta will be their typical selves and around 6-8 wins, and Tampa is on top until proven otherwise. I *could* see Tampa take a step back after a couple years of losing their offensive braintrust and Todd Bowles makes some dumb decisions. We're likely still a year away without some luck, but I feel like we're finally trending in the right direction.
  6. I wouldn't be surprised given how the NFL swings, but I'm not getting my hopes up for that. Regardless of win totals, I want to see the following in 2025: 1. Continued development and improvement of Bryce and the offense. This is coaching and player-related. 2. An improvement in the defense from historic bad to mediocre. Anything beyond that is great. Even at mediocre, we could have pulled off a few more wins last year. 3. The development of a strong core of leaders and a team identity emerge. Wins? I expect 6-8, some improvement, but we're not quite there yet. Injuries are the greatest equalizer in the NFL, and we lacked depth across the board last year. Maybe we're healthier this year? Or our depth shows well when injury strikes. I don't know. Now look, we could go on a tear and win 10+ and the Division. I wouldn't be sad at all there, but I also don't see it as being likely. But it would be cool!
  7. 7-9 wins for me, but not good enough to win division or go to the playoffs.
  8. I think the line opened at 6.5. Can't remember which site I was looking at. I think I will just wait and see. I can see both scenario's for us being under as well as over. I am just happy to see us actually taking steps forward. Still too many IF THIS and IF THAT in scenario's for us to win the division for me to confidently agree.
  9. 9 wins and NFCS champs this year.
  10. i'd like to keep this thread alive all offseason. close it first day of training camp. that's my goal.
  11. I disagree on the at. Everyone always talking down but can you list 9 slot wrs that had better production with a qb that was abysmal until recently ? I agree with the rest but a number 1 pic qb in his 3rd year this team is plenty stacked to have a good year. If by reverts back to abysmal by then not sure there is much hope for him. As always nfl teams will be reviewing his film so sure it will be harder for him this year also but hopefully he put in some offseason work.
  12. Orlov turned it up a notch as well.
  13. Today
  14. Reasonable take. Looks like a 6 win team to me.
  15. I am still expecting something in the 5-7 win range but to be more frequently competitive. It's a long road to rebuild this franchise. This is still far closer to the beginning than the end, IMO.
  16. But what if the Panthers are buying flat finish paint? Or eggshell? Or matte?
  17. An alternativd: Bluesky has a growing Panthers community and NFL coverage
  18. As long as he doesn’t say Free Palestine or Stop the Genocide he will be safe. Lol gotta love a free country
  19. Pump the brakes we’re headed in the right direction but not ready to compete in the division. Tampa Bay and Atlanta still have better rosters overall and there’s no reason to think the Bucs have taken a step back in the division. They’ve had a strong draft too
  20. I say it every year, but this time with conviction.
  21. I don't disagree...but here's the thing. We are here to have a good time, and being optimistic is way more fun. This is the only time of year we can really take the top off that meter, because it is all pure speculation right now. We will come back down to earth after a few games. Let's have our fun while we can. We are currently undefeated, and we should act like it
