Great call. I still wonder if the Saints bite in the first or get a trade up into the late first. Sanders not being a top 3 QB would be hilarious after everything. At first I thought Dart was the smokescreen but it may be Sanders.
-
I'm not convinced that Dallas will need to trade up. They need a wr just as bad as a rb. They can just wait to see which fall to them. There will be a lot of d-line and o-line picks that will push skill positions down into the top 12 to 15.
-
I think he's probably the best available when we pick. I like him as a player and would enjoy the chaos of it. https://www.theplayerstribune.com/ashton-jeanty-nfl-draft-football-boise-state
-
Only way they trade up is if Dallas is trying to trade up
-
Given our recent history with drafting athletes over production I genuinely would not blame you.
-
They do not have to trade because they can take a tackle. They are not desperate to take a RB. They may not take Jeanty even if he is there. They are the only team that "might" take him and it appears the wouldn't even if he is. You cannot convince Dallas otherwise in this situation.

Heard that teams could be targeting Dart and not Sanders as the 2nd QB. And maybe Milroe as an early 2nd or late 1st that someone trades into.
-
Just the top. If the 1st wasn't so ugly the 2nd would look great. Good bump in 4th and 5th. That top 15 is weak AF

A lot of the speculation about our potential trade down opportunities has swirled around Sanders and Jeanty but could it actually be Jaxson Dart that gives us that opportunity? https://x.com/NFLonCBS/status/1915404791410249807?t=Vwm1R_wJLQ7QtZ6HYKBD0w&s=19 -
But if Dallas is willing to trade up, then yes, the Bears do have to trade up to get him. You’re making it sound like no matter what, the bears can stay put and get him, but they can’t. Hell, even if he’s there at 8 and we don’t trade with Dallas, then Dallas has the same chance to trade with the Saints to take him before the Bears get the chance. Which is why if Jeanty falls to 8, I think our best bet is to try and trade with the Bears, whether it’s bluffing a Cowboys offer or we have a real offer from them, the Bears have to take it into consideration that the Cowboys have 2 spots to try and trade above them for the guy they want
-
My friend the entire draft is meh.
-
Just meh for me. More so when I look at what they have already done this offseason. Take a freaking OT over him or Graham. Neither are bad but neither really get past meh for me.
-
No Jalon Walker is 6'2 245 so it won't be the same. Also wouldn't want it to be the same because I don't want another guy with 3 acl tears. We already have one on his second
-
I wouldn't complain.
-
Yeah I'd be pissed
-
They could do much worse than taking Nolan, trust me.
-
I guess all I can do is hope they leap us and take thay option off the table.
-
The Bears don't have to trade with us but Dallas does. Dallas can take the next best wr on the board which is what they desperately need. Everyone has options behind us and I do not think anyone will be desperate to trade up for him. Now the Broncos however may want to trade with us but I don't think Dan wants to go that far back.
-
shaq started following Shemar Stewart
-
Shemar Stewart is probably the most controversial pick the Panthers could make, I think the huddle would explode if we did end up taking him. But, honestly I would be in support of taking him especially in a trade down or even with the 8th pick. I just made a video about my thoughts on him, feel free to watch if you have some spare time. Anyways, LFG DRAFT DAY IS HERE KEEP POUNDING!!
-
Malaki Starks might be BPA at #8
-
If Jeanty doesn't go to the Raiders his next likely stop is the Bears, but the desperately need an OT. So Dallas may fall ass backwards into Jeanty.
-
I think if he falls to 8 the Bears and Cowboys get into a bidding war with us as they’ll both want him, so sure, bluff may be the wrong term, but if he falls to us, I’d be shocked if we don’t make a trade with one of those two teams. And the Bears won’t be able to stand pat then as there isn’t a scenario for him to fall to them at 10, it’s either trade up to get him or the Cowboys do
-
True but the narratives this year set the table perfectly for the smart teams to fleece the dummies.
-
yeah Mason Taylor can also play in the slot as a WR so i agree he is going to have/has more zip & elusviness as a route runner than the other two
