  1. Past hour
  2. Not realistic, IMO. I would be floored with this draft.
  3. I've heard the same things and it's starting to trickle out to mock draft now right before the draft. I think he falls but I still think he goes to the saints in round 1 they just trade back later into the first before picking him up. I'll add that it's a shame because if the saints take him, that offense becomes very explosive overnight. I like Sanders and have him rated around 11th overall and I don't think the gap between him and Ward is that big.
  4. All three of those guys are absolute freak athletes. Jason Witten has the worst weight-adjusted speed out of any of them, and he still beat out 88% of all tight end prospects. Kelce: 90th percentile speed score. Olsen: 99th. It's always possible to find a few exceptions, but it's very rare for a tight end to be productive without insane athleticism. For that reason alone, I'd be pretty annoyed with selecting Warren at 8. You'd be betting on a huge historical outlier.
  5. If there is anyone suggesting we are a defense away from legitimate playoff contention they are smoking some good poo. I think we should be able to compete in this pitiful division but anything else is hopium at best. Now as far as this insistence from our FO on overvaluing Adam Thielen goes it makes me concerned for their judgment overall and if I am being harshly blunt it just sounds like Scott Fitterer logic and says they have virtually no confidence in their ability to draft receivers.
  6. Kelce, Olsen, Witten etc ain’t getting open for winning the genetic lottery either (not by NFL standards). me wanting Warren has a lot to do with the fact we got Bryce Young and the glaring needs he needs to be successful. And Dave is flat out going to have to migrate to new views on passing (which I think he can). But we will stay a bottom tier pass attack unless the weapons and calls change. I don’t care to barely compete with a great run attack and great D in today’s NFL. You got to build your O around your QB to really compete and be something on O in today’s NFL
  7. AT contemplated retirement this offseason and missed 7 games last year. The fact he our featured pass catcher pending we don’t see some one emerge remains scary. AT should be a 3rd option at most. Offense is still a priority IMO given we have to still build even an average pass O (which we weren’t last year). Way too much “we are a defense away” talk going on.
  8. Dropping 12 spots and only netting an extra mid 2nd that we'll probably draft yet another bust with.
  9. Today
  10. First round (No. 8 overall): Jalon Walker, EDGE/LB, Georgia Second round (No. 57 overall): Jaylin Noel, WR, Iowa State Third round (No. 74 overall): Bradyn Swinson, EDGE, LSU Fourth round (No. 111 overall): Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Bowling Green Fourth round (No. 114 overall): Cameron Williams, OT, Texas Fifth round (No. 140 overall): Korie Black, CB, Oklahoma State Fifth round (No. 146 overall): Jordan James, RB, Oregon Fifth round (No. 163 overall): Nick Martin, LB, Oklahoma State Seventh round (No. 230 overall): Tim Smith, DL, Alabama
  11. Eye test wise Bryce looked like a different player by the end of last season. Even someone like myself that has been very skeptical will readily admit he looked very confident and made some very nice throws you would expect to see from a top pick. Statistically though you are correct there's been some coping going on and there were times that people were just clinging to whatever random statistical anomaly they could find from randos on Twitter. On the surface I get it. We need something anything to feel upbeat about. But if we want to win with Bryce not just short term but years from now we've got to increase YAC and that isn't going to happen with folks here awkwardly rejoicing over giving comically slow Adam Thielen a raise. But we don't have to draft a TE in the top ten to address this. We just need to be intelligent and stop trying to draft the same mold of WR over and over.
  12. I know where you stand and I don’t anticipate much agreement here. I really don’t. He’s a bit better at perimeter work and reliability in the seams, but take away all the wildcat, trick play and college-specific work, I don’t see it. My eyes must be broken.
  13. I'm not saying he isn't good. I have him rated 9th and Loveland 10th on my own board. I just think Walker is a better player at a more valuable position.
  14. We make probably the most sense. The last bit of major names stop around 8 names. Being that it's Sean Payton... id try to rob them blind and honestly... im wanting to move back more than reaching but ill root for whoever except Stewart lol
  15. FWIW, rumors are circulating that Denver is actively looking to trade up for an offensive playmaker to help Bo Nix. #20 & #51 for #8 works out pretty well.
  16. Went trade-down crazy here. Traded down with Houston for a bunch of picks and again a few other times. Ended up with an insane haul; 13 players + an extra 3rd and two extra 2nds next year.
  17. and Broncos making calls to move up in 1st, we are mentioned. https://sports.yahoo.com/article/adam-schefter-says-broncos-calls-142557539.html
  18. Warren is as fluid as Travis Kelci. Every other guy you mentioned but Bowers are stiff and they play stiff. The flexibility Kelci provides KC cannot be understated. As for you don't see what separates him? His highlight tape says enough. As for the volume issue, or "high school running back issue". The guy was the best player from the 3rd or 4th best team in the country. This ain't no 1A high school championship running back. This is your 7A running back in Texas who had 350 carries and 75 tackles.
  19. Saints calling teams about a possible trade to move up in the 2nd, apparently for a QB https://x.com/AdamSchefter
  20. Skattebo, Warren, and Restrepo are my wish list. I'd like Josiah Stewart out of Coastal...erm...Michigan too, and he can be had on Day 3. With the offensive line playing the way it was, and five tuddy Bryce playing the way he has been, the running back room, tight end room, and receiver room all of the sudden look a whole lot better if you add those three. Restrepo, Theilen, and Warren to go along with Xavier to take the top off would present issues for any defense in the league. You got the carvers, you got the deep threat, and you've got the wrecking ball.
  21. The thing I respect most about Mel Kiper is his unwavering commitment to his hairstyle. It's reaching Hulk Hogan levels of ignoring hair loss.
