  1. Past hour
  2. I wouldn't be mad if we drafted him as part of a trade down. I'm not a UNC fan but I'm high on Hampton.
  3. I agree but it's not happening. Bryce will have to build on the good from last year, or he will be gone. I really doubt Dan and Dave get the boot for that unless this next year is like 1-16 bad. They're not going to reinvent the offense for him, as they haven't done that since he was drafted. As dumb as it is, it's what's happening. I agree with your sentiment that we need more short yardage pass catching talent, but I don't think that justifies taking a TE in the top 10.
  4. IDK where he is health wise so a 2nd could be the moon. Being on deal with 1 year left with noncontract talks screams volumes people around here keep ignoring.
  5. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6274940/2025/04/21/nfl-draft-2025-confidential-hunter-sanders/?utm_medium=bluesky&utm_source=dlvr.it Some good info here from the Athletic around prospects and how they are getting seen. Edit: It’s keeping me from huffing into a paper bag re: Mykel at least.
  6. I want no part of hampton in the nfc south. Kid is an absolute beast of a power back
  7. Great point. This offense isn't fixed by any means and with the lack of proven weapons at the TE position we have I say keep firing. When a team has a legit TE threat it's changes the game. It just does. Now is Sanders that guy idk I hope so! but it isn't Tremble sooooo?
  8. ...Any deal with shitsburgh will fk us...They been doin it awhile.
  9. I get that logic but I heard it was bc of uncertainty at qb and etc. Yet, he is 30... so probably a 3 year window left. They just drafted olb last year I think.
  10. Bryce wasn't even cracking an average of 200 yards per game in regulation to close out the year. We were 30th in passing yards on the season. He made great strides vs his rookie year. Glaring change. But that was glaring simply because of how historically bad his rookie year was. We are still a bad passing offense. 2024 was a bad passing O. I'm not buying whatever stat twisting was done to come up w/ Bryce was one of the best deep passers in the league. I still think it's simple. You want Bryce to succeed? You need pass catchers out of the backfield. You need slot/TE play. You need YAC. You need him to be what you drafted him to be. We were way below average in terms of production out of the backfield. We were way below average in terms of YAC. Dreaming up we can somehow make Bryce some chunk play passer downfield is not something worth bothering with. Trade him if you don't want build around the dude you mortgaged our future on. Keep him and play to his strengths. I don't care which one. But pick. I give them a pass going into last year of things conflicting. Now you got to pick IMO.
  11. You are right on that, but offense schemes need to evolve with talent on field. I would like to see if Sanders can develop as well......I just think having a TE who can read defensive zone coverages for pockets AND can body 1 on 1 defenders is invaluable for an offense.
  12. If anything, Jeanty's stock is heating up. That's making Hampton's value increase as RB2. Pretty big drop off from RB2 to RB3.
  13. I agree. It's really the principle that we got upset about for the Burns trade, less so the ignorant horseshit we would have used it on. I do think there was likely no team in the NFL willing to give up a 1st for CMC at that time.
  14. Only thing you need to know is upcoming 8th losing season in a row. Never been done before except under Dipper... that a first.
  15. If Jeanty is still there it might help us trade down
  16. Yeah a few programs I listen to had similar sentiment. Lots of stuff coming out to just expect the unexpected compared to what you have not seen from the mock drafters of the world. This year is going to be different in how much it varies.
  17. During that last stretch Young was one of the best deep ball QBs in the NFL. He was running DC's offense and it was looking great despite needing some more weapons.
  18. Funny enough Charlotte is one of the more trendier cites at the moment,
  19. Most mocks have Warren going to the Colts at #14. Where someone is drafted and where they are ranked on a Big Board can be, and often are, not the same. Here is Klatt's opinion on this with the Colts pick. Something I was saying to another poster earlier this morning and then I just ran across this video a short time ago.
  20. We would've done the same with a 1st round pick for him, if that's what we had gotten. Same with the rumored 2 firsts for Burns. I am confident we would've found some way to waste it on stupid poo. It's what we do.
  21. All TEs on the roster aren't supposed to lean toward recieving weapons. I got no issue with Tremble. But he is what he is. Tremble is there to aid w/ the run game. Panthers spent a trillion dollars all things considered on Bryce Young. Last year they got a surprise from him. Worst thing they can do is stick with square peg/round hole mindset that Bryce has to fit something no one would ever have argued he would/should be in. So I'm sticking w/ my same position. You got to greatly improve at two spots at Bryce is your QB. Middle of the field and out of the backfield. The short pass game. If you weren't interested in that.....then you should of never of drafted Bryce Young let alone given up the farm for him. And majority of the people at BOA signed up for the Bryce Young project.
  22. Its even better when its the same person debating himself on 3 different accounts.
  23. I just watched Klatt's mock and Greeny's mock featuring Kiper & Yates on YouTube. The Jags are now very questionable to take Graham (who has been routinely been mocked to them) which could change the trajectory of the draft. Jeanty has picked up steam, but the sentiment now is offense no matter what. Both videos suggested we still are going Walker or Williams--Williams if Walker is off the board, BUT Yates said don't be shocked to see us take an OT with Icky and Moton in contract years in 2026--assuming we pick up the 5th year option.
