  2. I'm not sure he makes the roster, TBH. He's a name at this point, but I'm not sure what he brings to the table that we don't already have with Adam Thielen. I suspect we keep 6 WRs this year: LOCKS: T-Mac XL Thielen Coker LIKELY: Horn Jr. (as a return specialist if nothing else) That only really leaves one open WR spot between Renfrow, Moore, Jacolby George, Kobe Hudson and Moose III.
  3. It was Eric the pff guy. He controlled a lot of our draft this year. He has stated before you give up picks to trade up for QB specifically, any other positions you do pick swaps.
  4. Maybe they let some fans do the deal, because it was basically like the type of trades you see the fans do during their mock drafts all the time, just keep adding picks to the deal until the values about balance out, hahaha
  5. I saw him doing alright for a raw rookie prospect. It was his hands that let him down. He burnt Slay like he was a piece of toast but dropped it
  6. he hails from philly where you have to ask edgy questions to stand out. I ve told my Soronsen story a 100x times on here and I am still repulsed this is the mindset of the old school observer reporters enjoy I've told this story on here before but in in the early 2000's after a panther game my friends and I ran into Tom Sorenson of the Charlotte Observer at the southend brewery. He sat with us for a while and at some point he was asked directly about why the CO wasnt more critical of Jerry Richardson. He basically said Charlotte is a nice quiet southern town and the people here didnt want those types of stories or those types of reporters/columnists that cause drama. I am obviously paraphrasing but we asked about why the paper wasnt going after shinn and the hornets harder as well when he was going through his troubles and all the crappy moves they made. He just said there is not an audience for that. We argued and argued and he just didnt understand. Maybe he was playing dumb but I remember being incredulous at the time that the people in the media thought that asking hard questions would turn off readers
  7. The +800 on getting to 10 TD's looks quite tasty, if he plays 17 games I think he gets to double digit TDs. XL was our best Redzone target last year, T-Mac is an insane upgrade in that role next year, he's going to be a target monster in the end zone
  8. Marcus Blumberg, Mel Kiper, and Nate Davis can all suck a dick
  9. I'm not really getting this signing at the moment. We went from 1 returner to 4 or 5 it seems. I like competition as well as anyone but this seems a bit of an overkill.
  10. Yeah it was awful those post-draft pressers were practically unwatchable. Agree, Mike Kaye is very good.
  11. Don't care how he gets from A to B as long as he gets there with his 4.4 speed
  12. Mike Kaye has been questioning this since training camp. God bless him for actually writing this. "Legette might be the most awkward running wide receiver we've seen in a long time. He gallops down the field like he has pebbles in his cleats but fire in his heart. He is deceptively quick, but weirdly off-balance."

  14. Does Moose senior still hold the record for the longest completed pass in super bowl history via Jake Delhomme?
  15. The best part about this pick is I know how bad Canales wants that alpha so teams have to start rolling coverage to free up the other players. Say what you want about Legette the man has wheels. And if teams need to start putting the safety over the top of TMac plus Legette develops some more we could see alot more explosive plays
  16. mike kaye has some bite, the others not so much. Really disappointed in Ellis as he was a bulldog but once he got credentials he became a cuck
  17. For me it's very much situation dependent like I said above, so if anything, I think I'd actually prefer this type of stat line because I think it would bode well for overall team growth and success. Harrison had McBride there to "steal" 111 Rec and 1,146 yards, it's going to be hard for any rookie to put up better stats than he did when that happens, and he was supposed to be the best WR prospect in the last few decades. For me the big stat for T-Mac this year will be TD's, because I can see a scenario where the massive yard totals isn't there because of all the options Bryce will have and he's still a rookie, but he should be the clear top dog in the redzone playbook and hope we use him accordingly.
