Prospects of interest going into day three

It would be worse than having LaVar Ball around. I feel this is the main reason he has fallen this far. -
Round 2 - Panthers Select Nic Scourton at pick 51

he will be playing for an elite team instead cause that's what the best teams need at the moment, the best players. -
I was being a little facetious but the media doesn't really have a leg to stand on after this free fall

No, because everyone knew Cousins was being taken to be a backup project and any struggles by RG3 wouldn't call for Cousins to see what he could do. If Ward struggled at all, with it being Shedeur, the media calls would be out of control to play him and see what he can do, and you can't put your #1 pick in that situation. It's the same reason we couldn't draft him as even a project backup ourselves (not that I'd want to anyways), if Bryce struggles at all, it would be a disaster of a situation. Again, Steelers, Rams, and maybe Raiders really seem like the only options unless Jerry does what Jerry does best. Only other way is if Shedeur calls up some team with a VERY established QB and convinces them he's willing to learn from them and be a quiet backup and hope they take him to use in a trade down he line. Besides that, the media train that will come with him just isn't worth it as a backup.

He's fallen that far the Titans might aswell take him in an RG3/ Kirk Cousins situation

Not that this pick needed a cherry on top for me, but just saw that not only is T-Mac the first player the Panthers have ever drafted from Arizona, we were the only team in the NFL that Arizona had never had a player drafted by before. So the Panthers take their first Wildcat and Arizona now has had a player taken by all 32 teams. Cherry.

Round 3 - Panthers Select Princely Umanmielen at Pick 77

Listening to both these pics vs DJ Johnson, I'll never understand the trade up for that guy and he was already like 24 going on 25 I think. If anything I'll take pass rush specialists that are ok in the run game over edge setters that can't get any pressure on passing downs. -

Taking a look at the Panthers official visit/meeting tracker - players who the team met with that fall under the 4th/5th round: - CB Quincy Riley Louisville - NT Deone Walker Kentucky - DT Cam'Ron Jackson Florida - C Drew Kendall Bostol College - RB Jarquez Hunter Auburn - RB Ollie Gordon Oklahoma State -
Freddie is the Road Warrior. It's not his fault that we can't score. We are known for taking more shots. We tried less. That and bad luck killed us.THROW THE PUCK AT THE NET.

The problem is that if you don't have a fully settled QB of the future, you can't take him because it's just going to create a distraction that your young QB doesn't need while you're seeing if they can be your guy. Then you also can't take him if you have just a full on legit starting QB because Shedeur likely isn't going to sit well with knowing he has no path to playing either. Realistically at this point, only the Rams, Steelers, or maybe the Raiders make sense to take him, anyone else and it just seems like trouble waiting to happen. With the Rams and Steelers, assuming Rodgers ends up there, it would be where he knows he's going to sit for 1 year and then get the chance to take over while learning from a HOFer. That's a situation I don't think the Sanders family would have an issue with, especially at this point. The Raiders would be a little similar, but he could get stuck behind Geno for more than just one year. And think about it, do you really want a frustrated Shedeur living in Las Vegas? Beyond those 3 teams, I really can't see a situation that is going to not have all sorts of crazy media around it.... so the Cowboys will probably take him, because of course that will happen. In a way, it's Kaepernick all over again. The media distraction that is going to come with him, especially at this point, isn't worth dealing with for a backup QB. Once the Giants and Saints went with different QB's, it really set this up to happen.

Round 2 - Panthers Select Nic Scourton at pick 51

Thing is, he can probably come in an play immediately on the Strong side OLB for the Panthers. He's that talented already. He was just playing way too heavy at TAM. -
Trade both rest if the draft picks and next years 3rd for the Saints 2nd round pick next year.

Round 2 - Panthers Select Nic Scourton at pick 51

He's a good rusher when he's playing at his normal play weight. Go look at his Purdue tape. He pops off the film. -

Look more at his Purdue tape. What he's going to look like for Carolina. He added too much weight for TAM. Hurt his draft stock a lot. Had he stayed at Purdue and/or stayed at 260... He's probably a first round pick this year. -
I don't need to know anything else about him, I'm in on a TE from Iowa, haha And if we're looking at a kicker, I know after T-Mac people will roll their eyes, but I've brought up Arizona's kicker a few times before too, take a look at Tyler Loop, kid has a monster leg.

Really liked Carolinas day two draft picks, they nailed the hell out of today and got two of the better edge rushers in this draft. I had both rated in the top 50.
-
At this point I can't argue with that at all. I thought even with the bad interviews he was worth a 3rd round pick.
