At WR, he was the guy i wanted since I assumed we'd go DE/OLB in the first.

theres sandbagging every draft, but after the pick I felt better and really felt like we tried to play some teams. I remember in december/november he was like a #3/#4 overall pick. I think teams were sandbagging hard on him. In Fairness, I think teams were also (probably us too) sandbagging Mason Graham. Teams took the bait on Tet. I had a feeling something was up when we did a personal visit with him. didnt seem like our MO. That said, I will die on the hill that IMO, we were prepared to trade back, the idea was if Ashton Jeanty fell, and I still think the Cowboys sell their soul for #8 if he was there, he wasnt so they stayed pat. Legit all of this falls in line with the rumors.

You do realize this wasn't him being interviewed, right? It was some video someone posted online and those two guys are doing a podcast and are just watching this video, they're not interviewing him leading into the draft. He was being filmed by some random kid who was talking to him while eating lunch in some cafeteria a like two years ago.

I’m fine with the pick. Super productive with different coaches/QBs. Didn’t miss a single game with injury over his college career. Room for improvement but should be productive day 1. Just hope they can find a pass rusher with some juice

So slow that he consistently had a faster GPS tracking speed than Mathew Golden.. Also, had the 3rd highest PFF receiving grade vs man coverage of any draft eligible wide receiver. Take that FWIW. He does much more than just jump balls. He runs great in cutting routes, good yac, comes back to the QB very well, finds soft spots in the defense. There’s a lot to be excited about. At least give the kid a chance before trashing him.

I wanted defense also. Not unhappy. I understand why they drafted him.

Curious as to what the Cowboys were willing to give up. I would have taken 12+44 in a heartbeat.

I feel like I heard the Rams wanted to take like five different people in the first round... I feel like I heard everyone say the Rams wanted to draft Dart and then traded down after the Giants got him. At the end of the day, most of these people are blowing smoke out of their ass with these reports

Don't think we need to trade up because practically every spot on defense is a need for us. If we are talking going up a few spots, that's fine. What I don't want to see is US trading away future draft picks to move up to the first half of the second round

I don't know... There were many pundits that had Matthew golden as the number one wide receiver in the draft. Personally, I didn't think there was a stud receiver in the draft. Granted, there weren't many positions that had studs in this draft. I just hope that Tet actually wants to do well and actually wants to study/improve. Based on what I read about his personality, it seems like he is the opposite

Yeah he's excellent at making contested catches, I'll give him that. Big, slow receiver that can't get open, but he can make contested catches if you're willing to throw it up into these small windows. Take that FWIW if you think it's worth the pick.

As a T-Mac fan, if we didn't take him, that's where I wanted him to land as it would have been an amazing fit. Lamb plays mostly in the slot, giving them a true #1 on the outside to let Lamb stay inside, that would have been a dangerous combo for Dak
